Always a good place for a fun evening. Great oysters, crab cakes, shrimp.....and a bottle of bubbly makes it even better. Great service from the friendly guys in the famous Rodney's tshirts of course!

We had oysters 5 ways with prosecco. Laid back atmosphere and amazing shell fish. A fantastic evening in Van. If you crave oysters and chowder, a must.

My girlfriend and I had an hour or two to kill before our flight and stumbled across this place. We love our oysters in London but Rodney's was something else. A really delicious selection of oysters and great staff.

What a great place. Super-cool setting, great vibe, and amazing seafood. We had two whole Dungeness Crabs as more Oysters than I could count. Only drawbacks are the price (pretty brutal) and the lack of liquor drinks.

Always a fun night out, don't expect wine glasses if you order wine, it's in a glass. ( odd ) The place is noisy the oysters are great the selection is wide. The staff is friendly and the place is entertaining, if your a ppl watcher you'll love it. Go have fun, but it's not fine dinning, it's fun dinning.... More

Wow! Wow! I live near Fanny Bay (oyster capital of the World). This place RULES. Totally had a fallout during my visit (pardon me for sharing private affairs) but it the two orders were amazing and I enjoyed every minute despite my spouses explosive behaviour Go to this place in peace and slurp raw oysters on the half shell. Sorry... More

Our awesome waiter Yannick hooked us up with amazing fresh oysters, mussels and potato-crusted halibut. The ambience was amazing, probably due to the fact that the staff are all thrilled to be there! It was crazy busy so we did wait a while to get seated but it was worth the wait! Awesome experience!

The staff at Rodney's (Christina) we incredibly accommodating to our group as we were looking for a place for a social and a bite to eat after the final evening of the VIWF. The wine list and after tasting wine for four day, more importantly the beer list was very good. The service wonderfully cheeky (an Aussie from Brisbane) and... More

I am a huge seafood fan and am always looking for the best spot to get some fresh oysters and other seafood. Rodney's has a very cool upbeat vibe that gives the feeling of energy, but allows for intimate conversation. The all male wait staff is extremely friendly and very helpful in picking the best oysters and other dishes. Rodney's... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
