For breakfast I ordered the smoke salmon crepes and it was OK. But the real star of it for me was the Nutella hot chocolate-- sooo good!!

I was on Robson Street and decided upon breakfast at the Cafe Crepe. My choice for my morning meal was the Breakfast Special with consisted of bacon and eggs with a sugar/butter crepe for $11.00.

Opened early in the morning (7am). My fellow tripadvisor member traveler was even able to get a glass of wine (his craving) for breakfast. Food was fresh and relatively inexpensive for this expensive city. A good choice for breakfast.

We had breakfast here several times on our recent visit to Vancouver. Great food, really friendly staff and good value. Ten times better than the usual bland hotel fare.

Are the ham and cheese crepes "galettes"?

No, a galette usually uses buckwheat flour (I think) and I believe that Cafe Crepe uses regular wheat flour for their crepes. I think Cafe Crepe uses the same crepe mix for both their savoury and their sweet crepes.
