I highly recommend this restaurant. We had fresh oysters for only .99 each and the portion of salmon sashimi was huge and very delicious! Rolls were also fabulous!! Great value too!

Good value and tasty sushi. The restaurant is small but cosy and the staff was quick and kind. Dont expect antything fancy. The bill was decently priced.

This is very small, high volume sushi joint. Most people use it for take out as there is limited seating. The portions are very large – nigiri sushi was at least twice as big as Vancouver standard. One combo and one special roll were more than the two of us could finish. Quality was fine. With such high volume you... More

We tried a few sushi places in Vancouver, and this one was our favorite. We had the hamachi, Unagi, miso soup, California roll, etc. Everything was of the highest quality. As a frequent traveler and sushi lover, I highly recommend this place. Nicely done chef!

I ordered combination c for lunch because I wanted some variety...sashimi, nigiri, tempura, teriyaki, and miso soup. I couldn't even get close to finishing it, and was too full to eat dinner later! I will be taking my family to eat there next time I'm in Vancouver for sure!

Bang for your buck? How about superbang for a penny? This place was incredibly cheap and well worth your money. We ordered two platters and we were stuffed to the max. Honestly, when your sushi rolls are the same size as a GoPro camera, you can expect good things. The fish was pretty tasty, not SUPER fresh but better than... More

For the price you pay it's just amazingly delicious sashimi, sushi. My favorite is salmon sashimi. Great location, sometimes you will have to be in line before you can get in, but it's really worth of waiting. They accept USA credit cards, debit cards.

I went here with my friends, got there little early, 11:30, when there was no people. Got seated right away, came along with hot tea. We ordered sashimi, whole, which comes with 9 pieces, some rolls and udon. Sashimi portions were really big that you need to cut them. All the rolls we ordered were great except spicy tuna roll.... You had me at bento box and a pitcher of Sapporo. Our bills came up to $60 for 3 persons. Friendly staff as well. I'm going back today to try their other food.

Found A Long hair in food!!! Very nasty!!! So she gave me 20% off. How cheap is that!!! It should be free. They also have problems with their oysters, as the health inspectors put up signs inside their store. They use to be great, but they have become cheaper, with more amount of rice in their sushi, but less salmon... More

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
