What a cool, delicious little brunch spot. Very busy (as expected if your high up on trip advisor) therefore expected the wait so no problem. Waited half an hour for a table (they can text you when your table is ready). Front of house man is great, dealing with alot of waiting customers can't be easy but he was very... More

Cute restaurant on Granville opens around 10am everyday for the most delicious brunch! We ordered the eggs benny and loved it! We got the Smoked Salmon and the Turkey Sausage Benny that came with beans and spinach and hashbrowns. Everything was so good we finished our entire plate! Make sure you get their early because it gets pretty packed, when... More

Around the corner from my hotel and an easy walk over, especially when it's cold. I was in on a Wednesday morning and it was on the slower side, but it was also around 10 AM. I ordered the french toast with fruit. It had berries and the french toast was stuff ed with banana. The french toast was Brioche... More

Focus here is on brunch. Reasonable variety of choices. Six of us had Eggs benny, bacon benny and baked eggs. The Benny's were not runny but this was fixed right away. Service was decent. French press coffee was not hot enough. Cozy restaurant but a little dark inside. Overall good but not the best.

A small but cozy breakfast joint with great homemade jam. The scramble with sunchokes was great as were the sides of roasted roma tomatoes, beans and spinach. I'd skip the ham on the Benny next time and opt for the caramelized onions and mushrooms. I was rather disappointed they use deli meat at a place like this, however. Coffee was... More

I don't want you coming here. It's the best brunch in town and if you come here my wait is longer. Stop coming. *sigh* I love this place

Well - firstly, we rarely go out for breakfast/brunch - but we do when we are on holiday. That is why we went to the Twisted Fork Bistro - we have lived in Vancouver for many years and have heard of the place time and time again but it wasn't until we moved away and visited recently that we thought... [ First off, the easiest way to locate this spot is looking for the line outside. I missed it a few times walking straight past it (and I had a pretty good idea where it was!) ] Arrived for a late breakfast at 11:00-ish on a Sunday. Although the place was packed and there was people waiting outside, I was... More

Long wait arriving at about 10am on a Sunday. But they will text you when you are up next and you can wander back, or cancel your reservation. Very handy. Our party of 4 waited about 40 minutes. We enjoyed a croissant across the street at the little cafe while we waited. Pretty small inside, narrow restaurant. Friendly service, pretty... More

This place is a can't miss. Every morning spent in Vancouver begins with a breakfast at Twisted Fork. The portions are HUGE, the jams are fantastic and the french press coffee is the best!!

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
