Beautiful old surroundings, with a large menu of pub food. The beer flights were excellent. If we hadn't had so much beer we would have tried the whisky flights. Well, next time.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Victoria. Handsome building, with a true pub experience within. Brass and dark woods make for a very pleasing, warm and welcoming space. The Hoynes Dark Matter ale was delicious as was the chicken soup and duck flatbread. Will go back!

Came here with friends and were seated below the stairwell hidden and close to a fireplace. Great ambience and food was above average. Service was attentive as well. Will have to come back for their drinks!

This place is impressive - reminiscent of 1940s/50s style . It has a warm and welcoming feel on a very cold evening in Victoria. The food was great - we got the chef's pasta and fish and chips (potato flake crusted was AWESOME!). Did not disappoint. The Midnight flight (dark beers) had an excellent sampling of beer. Hot buttered rum... More

Well I admit I was certainly looking forward to having dinner here, given the history of the building and all the positive reviews I had read here, but the experience was somewhat disappointing. Went as a party of four at about 5:30pm on a Saturday evening and got in without a reservation or a significant wait at the door. We... More

Lots of options for beer drinking in Victoria, but Bard & Banker is still my favorite. Friendly staff, beautiful interior and still the best Fish & Chips in Victoria.

We both ordered the rotisserie chicken and it came quickly and was hot and delicious. It was served in a big iron baking dish, which was cool. The gravy tasted great and the mashed potatoes were good too. The pub is nice and clean and has a fireplace in the back.

We were amazed when we walked into this corner pub. Not expecting the fabulous building and super decor. The food was excellent and even though the place was packed, it seemed spacious and upmarket. Had a super time there and will go back.

This is a clean, warm and beautifully fitted out bar...like the public houses of yesteryear-reminds me of the Crown or Robinsons Bar in Belfast. Friendly staff and good service. Right at the back there is a wee intimate area by a real fire, which in winter makes the B&B a winner. Didn't eat this visit but got warm and refreshed
