First visit to Fisherman's Wharf and picked Barb's because of the long lineup, We shared the 2 piece with fries and a small portion of really good coleslaw. Fish was lightly battered, fries piping hot and I wish I had more of the coleslaw. They've been in business 32 years and our lunch proved why. Will definitely head to Barb's... More

Had Barb's special 2 piece. Like the batter as it was relatively light. Fish was still very juicy. Chips always good. Got there on a windy morning and it was gusty. Things were flying off the table, including food trays, utensils etc. Worth a try when in the neighbourhood.

Had Date Day lunch there, and we were disappointed! Fresh halibut is available NOW, but they served previously frozen from last season (you think they'd take advantage of fresh for the short time it's available, by advertising, especially for locals who know!!) Fish and chips tasteless, undercooked battered halibut. Coleslaw also tasteless. Not our best visit. They just reopened for... More

A must do for any visit, anytime of year. Seals are very entertaining and eating fish and chips outside on the dock watching them is just great fun. The chips could have been a bit crispier, but fish was fantastic. Had some clam strips too, enjoyed those as well.

When visiting a harbour city you just have to at least once have an order of fish and chips at the beach. Technically it's located at Fisherman's Wharf, but it's close enough. The line up suggested that this was the place to go. The system that they use with pagers moves the orders through smoothly and it wasn't long before... More

Located on Fisherman's Wharf, they have ample parking available on shore. Unfortunately this is a tourist trap chippie. Prices are excessive for what they offer. I had 2 piece cod & chips, with both pieces of fish being identical size and shape. The batter was far too thick and was raw on the inside. Only positive is that it was... More

We had been out for a long walk along Dallas Road and ended up in downtown Victoria looking for a unique place to eat. Fisherman's Wharf has great character and Barb's Fish and Chips are the best stopping place. It was a very windy day but beside the floating kitchen was a tent that had a good roomy place of... A great meal even in this rainy BC day. Fishermans wharf is a fun place to see the local sea lions do tricks for herring and enjoy a great setting here on the inlet
