If you are visiting Victoria, why not start with afternoon tea. The James Bay Tea room is very typical of what you expect when visiting a tea room - no surprises but everything is good. We had the Earl Grey tea, which was perfect for...More

I was very surprised about this place when I enter, but it's such a lovely place, friendly staff (even if they don't understand your accent). I loved both their beef pot pie & hot chocolate, totally recommend

Great little tea room and restaurant just up the street from the Parliament buildings. Good food and the service was excellent.

When you ask for tea and the pot arrives wearing a cosy, you immediately know that they understand standards and how to do things right. Lovely little spot, friendly staff, great food.

The cost is about $30 for a pot of tea and the 'Daily Tea'. This includes a two layer plate of sandwiches, baked items and fruit. I will post a picture of it on Trip Advisor.
