We walked here from our hotel and decided to try it. The restaurant is darling and feels like a true pub. It was seat yourself. We sat for a good 15+ minutes before someone came by, although the waitstaff made many eye contacts with me...More

This is a well known place in Victoria, part of the English Pub "kit" that includes the Bard and Banker and the Irish Times in downtown Victoria. They all have a nice friendly atmosphere but a recent visit to the Penny Farthing was disappointing for...More

This English style pub has a welcoming atmosphere and an interesting laid back décor, including the antique bicycle from which it takes its name. We went for drinks on a mid week evening. They had a good selection of local brew as well as international...More

This is a basic pub. Cute setting, however slow service. Happy hour menu is limited. A quick drink seemed to take forever...Nothing special here.

This pub is in the heart of Oak Harbour and pretty busy for a weekday evening. We ordered traditional pub fare, bangers and mash and shepherds pie. The food was a little different from what we were expecting and the shepherds pie was a smaller...More

Was here for a beer an a lunch with a friend last week. He had the usual Shepherds Pie and I tried a prawn salad which was new on the menu. Shepherds Pie is unchanged but I still think the portion could be bigger for...More
