We always go to another sushi restaurant when we are in Whistler but tried this one and I am so glad we did. The service was great and food incredible! Get the hot pot if you go.

Had lunch here. Was pleasantly surprised with the freshness of the fish. Good selection as well. The lunch special was a fair price also. Good value.

We have gone to Ka-ze every time we ski at Whistler. Love Tokyo Tom the owner who provides a personable experience for his diners. Sushi is always fresh and the shabu shabu hits the spot. Love the tatami room that can accomodate larger parties.

I'm sure the hotpot is good but the sushi is totally devoid of taste and flavor. Fish is fresh to be fair.

Have been by this place multiple times and never thought of sushi in Whistler. Nice menu of typical sushi fare and the service was excellent.

Have not eaten too much sushi but what I had here was amazing. Friendly waiter could tell we were novice so suggested Shabu Shabu as a main course with edamame to start and then try a little negitoro. If you like sushi and fine Japanese and other asian cuisine give them a visit. If you are familiar with Whistler Village... More

Kaze Sushi is more than just sushi but the sushi is very good. The sabe (hotpot) is fresh and light yet paradoxically filling. We had the sukiyaki which was sweet and tasty. The Shrimp tempura was also excellent. The sushi was freshly prepared and both tasty and plentiful. A very good Japanese experience!

Love this place, Everything about it is authentic. Hand picked fresh from the fish market and made with pride by the Qwner. Excellent! Thanks Tom.

While very traditional, Tom (the owner) came up with a few creations of his own and it fits neatly the traditional menu of the house. The staff is so nice and even offered some little treats to my son (Japanese style omelette and some fruits) to complement his meal.

We were delighted by this small little Sushi place in the Westin Hotel. We tried their Tropical Roll which had a surprise crunch in the middle and a Grasshopper roll which was fantastic with the avocado on top but my favourite was the Real Crab California Roll. Nothing will beat that. We highly recommend a trip here anytime.
