I have eaten here several times for lunch or a mid-day snack and am always pleased with the freshness, flavour and appearance of the food. The cafe offers a modern take on traditional first nations food. And it seems that it is still one of Whistler's best kept secrets as there is always a table to be had and friendly... More

Had a very nice coffee and something nice to eat after vsiting the Cultural Centre. Make sure you allow time with the completion of your visit to enjoy this place.

This restaurant specializes in fast food with an indigenous touch. The ambience is pleasant, and the products available for sale look inviting. I had some tasty coffee and a luscious Nanaimo bar. Recommended.

I'm so glad I chose the Thunderbird Cafe in the Lil'wat Cultural Centre for lunch in Whistler. Away from the summer heat, I enjoyed the Bannock Taco and wow! It was amazing. Great service in a neat setting, too!

I enjoy quality food ingredients and this little cafe offers just that. They have a small but varied menu with local and First Nations cultural inspiration. They are friendly, generous, quality, clean, and reasonable. I'd love to go again, but we were only in Canada for a short visit. I loved the berry iced tea because it had wonderful natural... More

We had sampled First Nation food and it was absolutely delicious! Simple and basic but very tasty particularly the Bison Sausages.

Not much seating for this popular cafe in an interesting museum. The food is freshly cooked and good value, Salmon and Corn Chowder or Venison Chilli both with bannock bread being examples. The bannock to me seemed more like what we would call a doughnut (minus the sugar) in England!

Great value food, lovely location in the cultural centre (though you can visit the cafe anyway). Food was good quality with some real healthy options.

The food was made quickly and it was delicious. We also pre-ordered a dessert platter - the berry crumble bars were to die for. I would highly recommend staying here for lunch when you visit the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Center!

Thank Winnie T
