This is simply great, homestyle European food. This a family restaurant, and is rather charming on the inside with Danish flags. I had the pork schnitzel, my husband had the frikadeller (huge meatballs of pork and veal). The schnitzel was fantastic, and you get two...More

Schnitzel was excellent, huge portions, everything hot and excellent service. DO go to this restaurant, would suggest you make a reservation because seating is limited. Has the mom and pop restaurant feel and food. We had enough left overs for another complete dinner. Signature potatoes...More

Hello Minnesota! Yes, Bistro Dansk makes their sauerkraut on site from scratch. They do not speak German. They are Czechoslovakian. I suspect from their heavy accents they speak Czechoslovakian!
