I liked the old owners. I like the new owners. I like the fish, fries, gravy and coleslaw. I just wish parking was better. It may be too low class for some, but it's a clean, friendly place with good food. I crave their fish as I live out of town.

Always had great food/experience here, but that changed when we went back under the new ownership. Food arrived and looked great. The fish was great as usual, but the fries were too dark on the outside and raw on the inside. Obviously fried in too hot a fat, got dark on the outside, but undone on the inside. I mentioned... Although this restaurant has recently changed hands, the taste and quality of the food remains unchanged. I still think it's the best fish and chip restaurant in Winnipeg. The fish ( I had cod) is delicious, fresh and the batter is crispy with that UK taste we all love. Great job ladies!

Have been a regular at Ducky's for many years and I'm glad nothing has changed because of the transfer of ownership. The halibut tastes fresh and is complemented by the always perfectly cooked thick hand cut fries. Best fish and chips this side of Vancouver Island.

After eating here every other fish and chip shop is a huge disappointment. It may be small and family run but don't let that fool you. The fish is fresh and delicious. Not greasy and battered just right. Good service also. My favourite restaurant when in Winnipeg. My husband says its Winnipeg's best kept secret!

We enjoyed our outing mostly due to the friendly, accommodating service. We rolled in with a half hour to closing but were made to feel welcome and not rushed. That was greatly appreciated. We had the halibut and the deep fried shrimp. Given that we were the only ones there our food was cooked to order and served hot out... More

The best fish and chips I've eaten in Canada!! I found this restaurant on Trip advisor and have not been disappointed. The fish is so fresh and the batter dry and crispy. Real English style fish and chips and real chips. The food is cooked in full view so easy to see hygiene. The restaurant is a little tired and... More
