We had a lovely breakfast here. I had yogurt and house-made granola which was healthy and scrumptious. The service was fast and friendly. I am a huge fan of the social service aspect of the establishment. They are doing great work.

The staff were very accommodating and were able to get us a table without a reservation. We had heard great things about the cafe and were happy to be seated. I had ordered the breakfast sandwich and was not a fan of the sandwich or the hash browns. I ate a few bites and left my plate. The server cleared... More

I visited the Hungry Heart Cafe for a relaxed Saturday lunch with my parents. It was fantastic. I had the eggs Benny, which were excellent, and the accompanying hash browns were a mix of sweet and regular potatoes, and were tasty. However, the best part of the meal was the chocolate torte with raspberry ice cream, made in house. Aside... More

Had a lovely brunch here. My eggs benedict florentine were tasty and on the healthy side. It was served on rosti which was excellent. Unlimited coffee refills. Would recommend and will visit again.

This was a multiple course special meal that had such items as spring rolls, dumplings, beef noodles, whole fish, turnip cakes and egg tart. All the food was well prepared but the 4 hour timeframe was just too much for us. Will come back though for lunch someday.

This place is an absolute gem: we stopped here for lunch after visiting the Cathedral and the food and service were both outstanding. We were a group of six and were made very welcome.

I ordered the Caesar salad and chicken it was a really small portion size. I was still hungry when I was done. It was really loud when we went for lunch, the place was full, sat by the door and it was cold every time the door opened. Our waiter was very attentive. The prices were okay but I would... More

I had such a delicious lunch at The Hungry Heart this week. I always like their food, but this was so good I had to comment! I had the Potato and Green Bean salad with grilled salmon, and for dessert - Cranberry Pecan pie. All I can say is that both were perfect. And with a soft drink, coffee, and... More

HAND RUGS FROM THE CELINING OR SOMETHING. The ladies who do lunch tend to be very loud ladies. The food was excellent, the service excellent, the prices excellent but God, the patrons were loud

A local person recommended this lovely little restaurant. We had our first breakfast there and it was delicious. They only have a few choices but what they do offer is freshly made and very tasty. We enjoyed it so much, (and it was close to where we were staying), that we went back twice in the few days we were... More
