On our last night in Yellowknife we decided to go to Thornton's on a recommendation from one of our tour guides. Upon reading the reviews we wanted to try the Artic Char. My friend and I both tried it in different versions. Also had the...More

The temperature of February in Yellowknife is challenging, especially when you are there for a family trip with one aged 70 and two aged 60 family members! It is even more challenging to satisfy elder family members’ stomach! This time I took my family to...More

Great place, great vibe, and decent food. They offer unlimited refills on a variety of eggs (Bennys, Omeletes, Over-easy, etc.), and pancakes, french toast, etc. Overall a decent brunch location.

Visited here in a large group and ordered three courses - all were outstanding. Bison dumplings and sliders for appetisers. Beef Wellington for main and great desserts! Great job on the ambience and service too.

Very nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Nice menu selection. Had the pan seared steak. Excellent seasoning. Sample platter as appetizer was also very good. Sticky pudding for dessert. And half price wine on Wed was great. Definitely recommend. All co workers also enjoyed it.
