All of the food we had was outstanding, but the fish and chips were amazing. Also great was the fish stew. If you're in town on a Saturday morning don't miss the great cinnamon buns. Tip: if you sit at the counter you can chat with the chef (Allie) who is very nice and with other local folks.

My 84 year old aunt and I traveled to Yellowknife and this was the first place we decided to eat for dinner. It was pretty chilly outside at night, and there's not an indoor waiting area, so you have to stand outside. (This is a very small restaurant in an old building.) It was okay to wait, but my aunt... Hats off to Allison for cooking the most amazing meals. Best fish I've ever eaten! Recommend sitting at the bar. Very busy when they first open (with good reason), so you're best to come in about 90 mins after opening. Thanks :)

Rustic restaurant that has amazing food! You must try the feta sauce. The fish is always fresh and always tasty. Great spot to go out on date night.

Their prices may be expensive, but for the quality, taste, and amount - definitely worth it! Truly rustic atmosphere to enjoy!

Fresh fish from Great Slave Lake with home made fries, a sure winner. I've been eating at Bullocks for years and have never had a bad meal. Lots of "Old Town Yellowknife" atmosphere and attitude. The absolute best fish and chips anywhere.

The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, everyone was cheerful and happy which was due to the staff. Lastly this restaurant has the very best chef, her food... More

Excellent restaurant for a taste of fresh, northern seafood. This is a must-visit restaurant if you are looking for a northern meal experience. The dishes are on the pricey side

We had lunch at Bullock's Bistro during our recent visit in Yellowknife. We were a party of 6. We went there slightly after noon, its opening time, to try to avoid the long queue. When we arrived there, it was almost full house. We were lucky that we took the last small table and the last 3 seats at the... More
