Chicken quesadilla, pulled pork sandwich, both served with salad: both were excellent. Our server was friendly. Warm & cozy atmosphere. We would recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful late lunch. The pub decor is beautiful. The music set a wonderful atmosphere and the food was excellent. We had burgers- one with Caesar salad and one with cabbage and feta salad. Flavours were outstanding. Tried some local beer which just...made the meal even better. The server was great , so attentive and pleasant. We will definitely go backMore

I love libraries and pubs, so this was my kind of place! They have a few rooms, including a downstairs bar. I sat in the room with the beautiful furniture, dark paneling, crystal chandelier, oil paintings, tinned ceiling, fireplace, and books and got a glass...of the Grand Pre Tidal Bay white wine (a winery I later visited) and an appetizer of bacon-wrapped Digby scallops. It was all great.More

This pub is always one of my favourite, the food is always amazing and atmosphere is always delightful. The last time we were there they were low on staff but our waitress, Lauren, did an incredible job, she was very attentive, friendly, and was somehow...managed all of her tables in the same way. We will definitely be back, and we hope to see Lauren there again!More

Great atmosphere here at the Library Pub. Servers were enthusiastic, good at their jobs, and incredibly welcoming. The food was taste with a good range depending on your appetite. Drinks were also a great range from non alcoholic options to a wide variety of alcohol....The music upstairs with the open balcony on a summer night was just the thing to kick back and relax after a long haul flight. Can’t wait for my next visitMore

We stopped by here because when it says its a library pub and wine bar you should. The service was excellent and the two appetizer's of burger balls and date wrapped bacon were good. My wife said the Greek salad was pretty average. Some dishes...were not available due to supply and high fresh quality standards. This is what a decent kitchen should do and not compromise on quality. Just my opinion. I would rather not have it than be served some crappy dish.More

I went to this pub about 4 years ago and got the burger, it was great. Today we went back again as we were in the area. My husband and I got the tacos. He got pork and I got fish. He didn't enjoy his...pork but ate it anyway because he was so hungry and we had waited long enough. My fish tacos was super dry, I took a couple bites but I could not eat it. Even the taco vessel (pita) wasn't fresh. I figured for $17 they must be good; I was wrong. I figured at a pub there would be fries, no fries to be seen on the menu at all... So I ordered my 6 year old the garlic fingers (as that's what she opted for) They were called "Daves dirty fingers"? Under the starter section of the menu, for $16 I assumed they must be some delicious garlic fingers... once again we were very disappointed. It looked like a small pita, spreadable garlic with a small amount of orange cheese. Now for a child, bland food is her forte but if I had received that as an adult (which is what its meant for as there's no kids menu) I would have been sending it back and leaving. AND for $16 ?! Never again lol I didn't pay for my fish tacos as I sent them back but to be honest we should of sent it all back and left. I just felt bad for doing that. My husband went inside to the bathroom as we were sitting outside and he said it was very dirty inside. We just will not be returning to this restaurant as there are many other better options further down the street.More

The Library has been built to resemble a charming old English pub and they've done an excellent job. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch looking out over the main street of Wolfville.

We took refuge from the rain in this pub which served us a nice lunch. My wife had the very generous portion of shrimp tacos and I had an excellent pulled pork burger. The service was super friendly.

My wife and I were checking out Wolfville and stumbled across this neat old bar on the strip. We went upstairs where they had live music on this Saturday early evening...great fun and the food was decent too. Love the vibe and historic charm.

My husband and I have been to the Library Pub a number of times in the past. For the most part, these have been positive experiences - good food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere. This last visit, however, was a very different experience. We...visited there around 6 p.m. before going to an event, and had prompt service when asking our drink order. We took a little longer to decide on our meal, but ordered that within 15 mins of arriving. An appetizer and entrees. About 20ish mins after we arrived, another couple arrived and ordered an appetizer. We finished our first drink, and ordered a second. Husband's beer was flat (as was the table behind us) so that was quickly exchanged, and I was informed that the keg for my beer was being changed. Ok, no issues there. Thanks for letting us know. After a while, we noticed that the couple near us had received their order. We stopped our server and asked where our appetizer was. She said she was going to go back to the kitchen to find out. We waited a while, and then had to ask a second time for an update. It turned out our order had gone missing somehow. Ok, fine, skip the appetizers and wait for our entrees. She also tried to say that the kitchen was backed up, but somehow they were able to get the food ready for the couple who arrived after us. When this was pointed out, she was silent for a moment, and then said we made a point. By this time it was around 7:10 p.m., and we had to leave at 7:30 to get to our event. We let her know that if the order was not out by 7:20 at the latest, we'd settle up our bill and leave. (not that we wanted to go out on an empty stomach, but we couldn't be late) At 7:19 (or so), our entrees arrived. Husband's pan fried haddock, the breading was slightly dark, mine was ok. Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy the flavours of the salads, nor the haddock, as we had to eat quickly in order to arrive at our event in time. I think it tasted good? Before the entree arrived, we asked to speak to a manager -- she shook her head and quietly said there were no managers on site. Which was shocking to me. There was no attempt to make amends other than the server apologizing over and over. She removed two of our drinks from our bill after our pointing out that there was nothing done to try to remedy this situation, saying that's all she could do. She muttered multiple more apologies as we settled our bill, and left to look after other customers. Had there been communication with us about what was going on (that the appetizer order was lost, or that our entrees were coming, an update on what's going on in the kitchen -- anything like that), we may have been less frustrated. But being given excuses and apologies, and not having a manager to talk with about our experience really disappointed and frustrated us. I acknowledge that we probably could have let her know our timeline, but we hadn't had to do that in the past so it didn't cross our minds at the time. This was once a favourite place for date night, but we'll be rethinking visiting this restaurant in the future.More

What a great find in Wolfville. This venue is cosy, great music and superb beers and even a cider on tap. The staff was superb. We did not eat but the food that passed us by looked great. Well worth a visit (or 2 or...more). Will go there again when I am back.More
