Husband and I went for anniversary lunch around 1 pm. Our waiters name was Mack. He was the sweetest kindest guy! Patient, efficient and considerate! The food was delicious. Hot and flavourful! Thank you Mack. You made our day!!

Came around 5 pm. About 5 tables in the restaurant… waited 20 mins for our drinks, didn’t get our food until 6:40, when it came out our fries were cold , burger meat was disgustingly pink and soft, waitress forgot to put a meal through...so as we finished up our meals hers was just coming out…More

If you find yourself passing through Wolfville for any reason, Paddy's Brewpub & Rosie's Restaurant is undoubtedly a must-visit. We indulged in the Fish and Chips and the Tex Mex Chicken Quesadilla, both of which turned out to be amazing choices with generous servings.

Paddy's was a fantastic place for a meal and a beer - we had been sat at a patio down the street at a different restaurant, who then ignored us even as other patrons were served around us. Thank goodness! We got up and found...ourselves at Paddy's - great service, amazing chowder, really good beer (loved the Blueberry). Went back the next night and were treated to live music. Really great place.More

I ordered the brisket sandwich and the brisket was impossible to chew. I ate the bun and a few fries. The brisket was not cooked low and slow. I was given a 50% discount on the sandwich. Thanks to our server.

This pub was recommended by our campground host. Our server was friendly. Everything was fantastic ! We started with mussels in white wine sauce. Sooo good. Then between the five of us we had fish and chips, ribeye steak, scallop and pepper penne, bacon wrapped...scallop meal, and the lasagne. Sides of perfectly crispy fries, Caesar and spinach salad. Stout was delicious and honeyed cider was divine. Perfect meal to end a fantastic day.More

We had so much fun! The food was excellent as were the drinks. The service was A+ and there was good entertainment. We were just there for a basic dinner on a Monday evening and stayed three hours. My husband likes craft beers and tried...the American IPA, which changes regularly. He loved it. I had a glass of local wine. I thoroughly enjoyed my bangers and mash. My husband had the fried haddock. They were having open mic, which I am always leery of. The performers were generally very good. We noticed people in their 70s and people in their 20s enjoying the music. Needless to say we lingered enjoying more beverages. I would happily return.More

Our first visit since the pandemic revealed another victim. This spot is dear to us as we had our first date here and was a favorite regular spot . The atmosphere is the same however the quality of the food has fallen drastically. We started...with the steamed mussels which had always been a favorite and used to be a weekly special. Not these ones. These mussels were on the small side which is not a fault but requires an eye to be kept on the steamer as they do not take long to cook. These spent too much time in and were tough and chewy. The melted garlic" butter" was out of a bucket of garlic spread and was more of a hindrance than a help. Our mains included fish tacos, a buttermilk chicken sandwich and chicken sesame salad which is a signature dish. The battered and fried haddock is frozen and tastes it, the toppings are listed as radish, special slaw, avocado and lime crema. What came on these ones was dry sliced radish, some too large slices of red cabbage tossed in a light amount of what seemed to be bottled coleslaw dressing. No avocado, no lime crema. The prominent taste for this dish was freezer and old oil. Two of the four were eaten. The chicken sandwich is advertised as a lightly dusted and fried breast with sriracha mayo, lettuce, pickles, provolone and an apple and onion slaw. We received a chicken "breast" that was actually several pieces cobbled together to resemble a breast and fried in obviously old oil which resulted in a very dark, soggy, greasy uneatable dish. There was also no sign of the apple/onion slaw. This was sent back immediately. The cook sent word that this was caused by old oil. At least we all agreed on that. Old oil is not an excuse you send via server to customers. Filtering and changing oil are items on your daily and weekly/bi-weekly to-do lists. The final blow was dealt with the salad. This signature dish had been my go-to favorite since the mid 2000's. First of all, is there a chicken shortage in the Valley I did not hear about? This used to be moist juicy slices of chicken breast with a variety of sauteed veggies in a teriyaki-type sauce served over a caesar salad base. This was small pieces of dry chicken with three, quarter sized pieces of broccoli, four chunks of green pepper, a sliced onion and what must have been at least three sizable carrots cut in large julienne. Sigh. When asked if the regular chef was cooking, we were told he is now the manager and so no longer has time available to cook very often. I hope he finds time to properly train someone soon. The only familiar bright spot was our wonderful server, Jessica, who was welcoming, kind and quick to attempt to remedy our concerns. We now live 2 hours away and had made a special trip to the place that held some great memories for us. The pandemic hit this industry hard and many changes have taken place as a result. Paddy's/Rosie's has a wonderful atmosphere and a great location. There are a variety of indoor/outdoor seating options that together, offer a perfect taste of the town of Wolfville. I hope they are able to recover the perfect taste that used to come from their kitchen.More

We love this place! Been there at all time of day, its usually busy but service is always friendly and pretty fast too considering how busy they get. Food is always delicious, we tried most items on their menu. One exception would be their poached...eggs - poached eggs should be soft and runny and that seems like a hard one to make correctly. Beer is delicious, Love the coffee too, staff will brew a new pot if they feel it's not freshly brewed enough. Desserts are good, try their pies! Price are decent, Just one suggestion: We come off the trails with our bikes and your spot is conveniently near the trail. Would be great if we could secure our bikes right around your restaurant. We bike 20 km just to enjoy your steak and eggs on Sunday mornings!More

We chose homemade fish cakes baked beans and eggs. The fish cakes and beans are always homemade and they vary from visit to visit. This thing they were perfect. The beans had just the right balance of sweetness and tartness. And the fish cakes were...just salty enough to give your taste buds a kick. Service with a smile as always. Definitely a place to come back toMore

My family went to the restaurant around 2pm for a late lunch. It was busy and we had to wait to get a table. My first impression of the restaurant was not a good one, It was soooo dirty. So much food on the floor,...under tables and in the hallway between the front and back part and so many tables were full of dirty dishes that were not being cleared away. Eventually we got a seat and water and menus and other drinks and then the waiting began. After an hour of waiting for our food my boyfriend started messaging the restaurant on Facebook to find out what was going on. A table to our right with four people who were seated after us had already finished their meal and were starting on dessert. Also by this time no one came back to check on us, our drinks were empty and never refilled, and the only response we got from the restaurant that they are busy and short staffed. Another table was seated and they got their appetizers and we still had no food and our drinks were empty. We were ready to leave. Finally I had to get up and find our waitress and ask what was going on, she said they had been waiting on one of our dishes. I don't believe that because it was over an hour by this time, I think our order may have gotten forgotten. When our food finally arrived, most of it was cold and it wasn't very good food anyway. Certainly not worth the price we paid for it. Our waitress never asked if I wanted more hot water for my tea, never brought more water, I didn't get utensils until I asked and we never got condiments. My father had to take salt and pepper off another table. Not once did anyone apologise or give us any discount or anything. I will never go back to this restaurant ever again.More

More than likely it will be a hockey game but then again it could be a ball game since it is the playoffs. If the Blue Jays were playing it most likely be on.
