We recently had a fine Saturday lunch at The Tempest, soon to be re-named "Front and Central". Service was friendly and efficient, and the lunch menu had lots of fine choice at fair prices. Portions were not obscene, save for the desserts, which were bountiful....More
This is a lovely place for lunch or dinner. I went today for lunch with a friend, the service was very good and the food is stellar. Even with the change in owner, the Tempest continues to be a dependable restaurant and is worth going...More
The new owner/chef prepared a dinner we will not forget soon. Every course was a real treat and the wine pairing was very, very good.

Relax, enjoy the pace. Great food...limited menu but everything is wonderful no matter what you pick. Small facility so make a reservation. Enjoy and make a memory.
Tucked away on a little street in Wolfeville, Nova Scotia is a real eating treasure. The food and the service were top notch! The menu was interesting and the wine list serviceable. This is local food at its best! Don't miss it!
Great ambiance, food and service and nice and relaxed, you are not hurried, because they tend to always have a crowd eager to eat there.
I like the intimate atmosphere and the frine food presentations. On the most recent visit, the restaurant was not crowded and our meal was served promptle and presented beautifully with fresh edible flowers as decoration.
