Décor, inside and out, artistic and tasteful. Atmosphere cozy and pub-like. Service attentive and personal. Food (thin crust pizza and striploin steak) above average in quality. Pleasant experience overall. Would eat there again when in town.

Vert good service and the food was excellent. The curry was wonderful and just enough. Very busy location so you may have to wait for a seat.

I apologize for your strange experience with the menu insert. The previous day we had a special, which we inserted in our menus and this must have been a straggler that got missed when we removed them from the menus on this particular morning. And...More

We went there for a late family dinner with out two kids. The waitress brought the kids' meals early which made the dinner go smoothly, despite everyone being tired after a day on the road. The chowder was excellent as was the haddock. Would go...More

The Brownstone is a pub-style place with ditto food. The fries are exceptionally good and are served in many guises. I stuck with basic Fish 'n Chips and wasn't disappointed. Try their poutines, they look good as well. The caramel-sundae for dessert was equally yummy....More
