We go to Thai Express in the Halifax Shopping Center fairly often. My favorite item here is the Chicken Pad Thai, it is hot fresh and very flavorful!

It really is the best pad Thai in the city. Super fast and nice price, I can't imagine why you'd go to any other Thai place (if you're looking for that particular dish, that is). Obviously doesn't have the charm of a sit down restaurant but the food definitely makes up for that.

Wasn't expecting much from a food court restaurant but was expecting a simple thing,, decency. Food was alright,, the disgusting lady at the cash however, was horrible. Extremely mean and rude with an angry face that blocks the appetite.

Not a big fan of mall food but Thai express is great. Fresh authentic Asian food in flavourful bold sauces and fresh crisp veggies a must try for foodies in a hurry!

Was looking to grab a quick, healthy meal & the food was FANTASTIC. I was in Halifax on training with a friend who has a gluten free diet. Very hard to find places that will accommodate this but we found this place in the food court at the Halifax mall. Highly recommend this place! We even had enough leftovers for... More

When staying at th Hampton on business, I sometimes wander down the street to the Scotia Square Mall (ten minutes walk at most) and go to the Thai Express for chicken pad Thai. It is prepared while you wait and the results are delicious. Stopping at the NSLC before hand can provide some beer as a beverage - a perfect... More

I always liked the food there, healthy and fresh. It was my favorite place in Halifax Shopping Center. But last week the scene I saw made me worry about the food hygiene. When I ordered my Shrimp Pad Thai and waited in the line, I saw a stack of stainless steel bowls fall onto the floor. At this time, the staff... More

This my second time trying this venue for Thai food. The service at the lunch hour is slow. when we ordered we were given our springrolls. We then waited more than 20 minutes in line to get our pad Thai. You can guess that by this time the rolls were stone cold. The long wait was not worth it. The... More
