Yep, Men's room here. Stand in urine, stink, and ammonia at the urinal. Just disgustingly brutal. Been told if you complain to the management you will get barred. I like the people at the pub, but THE BOG IS THE WORST. Never again.

Met up with a few friends at the Poacher. The decor is good and the seating is comfortable. The noise level is perfect, good ambiance but low enough to be able to have conversations. The staff was super friendly. Our orders were delivered quickly and...More

I had lunch here with a number of other people and each of us said that our food was really good. The choices at our table ranged from bangers & mash, a Caesar salad with chicken, a club sandwich and my own choice of a...More

Very reasonable prices for wine and beer and appetizers. Lovely to sit on the patio on a warm summers evening after a long day at work.

Drove by the place and noticed the patio. Walked in to an old school British pub, like walking back in time. Wasn't sure what to expect. Wasn't very busy, server was quick and polite. Menu was as expected for a pub. We ordered the basics,...More

We stopped here for beers on a Sunday funday. The bar is well-stocked and the service is friendly. A variety of bar munchies are offered to soak up all the alcohol, too.

We lucked out by getting a table on the patio on a hot Friday evening. The fish and chips and the quesadilla special was good with decent portions and reasonable prices. The service was not the best. We had to go into the restaurant to...More

The Poacher is the best little pub in Downtown Burlington. Food is good, plentiful and reasonably priced. There is always new beer on tap (with a guest tap every month) and even a good selection of wine. While it isn't the newest establishment and the...More

Another pub I frequent. Fantastic pub food with a large assortment of drafts on tap. Ciders also for the gluten intolerance. Always friendly staff and locals that accommodate us. Top rated for me is the fish/chips, curry and burgers.

Always great food and service at this pub. The inside needs updating as the upholstered seating and the carpets smell very old. We only sit on the patio when they are open.
