We had plans in Guelph and I saw a French Country restaurant in my search. Artisanale turns out to be really impressive. The bread for my smoked trout sandwich was incredible, homemade focaccia. My wife's burger was a brioche bun. The salads were also remarkable. Make the trip. You will love it.

I was trying to remember that last night and, if I believe my previous review, this will be my 6th time. Our meal started with the Artisan Charcuterie plate, followed by roasted chicken that was incredibly tender, and roasted potato gratin. The finish featured crème caramel and cappuccino. Another amazing meal and this restaurant will definitely be seeing us again!

Had dinner here and thought the surroundings were unique and matched the french countryside bistro. Excellent choice of appetizers and soups and salads but disappointed at the variety of entrees, especially that they had run out of haddock as well as an onion soup which was on the daily menu at 7:20pm . Enjoyed a Orange Fennell salad and several... More

A lovely time. Pastry memorable. Salads , fish and chicken appreciated by all. Excellent choices in beers, ciders, and good wine list. Service hit just the right note - knowledgeable, discrete yet friendly. We will be back.

Today is my 5th visit to this wonderful restaurant; and every time I eat here I'm reminded of why I return. This is not a chef that skimps on ingredients or flavor. You can tell that time was taken in the preparation of your meal. This is not a fast-food or franchise eating experience by any means. I will definitely... More

On the edge of downtown and away from some of the bustle, Artisanale is subtle and attractive in a way that is relaxing yet fulfilling. We stopped in for a late lunch and were not disappointed. The place was nearly full but we found room. The lunch menu is surprisingly extensive but we kept to the quick options - a... More

Tasty charcuterie platters shared whetted our appetites for delicious creamy broccoli soup served hot. Choice of salad (most generous portion) or pate followed by Peking duck francais and vegetables, finishing with crime caramel. Prix fixe of 65 before drinks. Unbeatable service. Superb cozy homey ambience. We closed the place.
