Make sure you reserve - this place was packed at lunchtime Saturday, and with good reason. Great selection of beers and an eclectic menu. The service was very attentive and professional. I'll be back!

My girlfriend and I go here at least once a week, we love the beer and food selection! The dishes they have on the regular menu and daily specials are the best meals in town! We often come later in the evening as it is busy without reservations around dinner time and there is a wait for tables, but no... More

We had a dinner reservation for 6 at 8:30p. The place was packed, but they had a walled off room with a large table for us and a couple of small ones for others so we could actually talk and enjoy our meal as the bar area was crowded and loud - everyone obviously having a good time. The service,... More

Customer service was excellent, but the place was crowded and very noisy. They carry a wide selection of craft beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Food was good.

There is no way I would ever serve a hamburger to a customer raw in the middle. My hamburger was blood red and bleeding. Kitchens can get busy but this kind of oversight is unacceptable and a health hazaard. My french fries were cold and swimming in grease. There was no ketchup offered with the meal. I was allowed back... More

The food here never disappoints! They also carry a wonderful selection of craft beers and ciders and even have a slushie machine for grownups! Unfortunately it can be quite loud in there when it's busy, I think if they managed the wall coverings a bit differently or added some baffles to the ceiling this would help a bit. Not a... More

It looks small when you first walk in but has an upstairs and back room. Had craft beers and good food. A little crowded and noisy but staff and service were excellent.

Started our day at another nearby location and came to Baker because my friend (new to Guelph) heard Baker was great! Well wished we'd stay at the other spot. Baker staff seemed uninterested and bit of an attitude when we asked why every table had reserved sign on every table with times on them. Remember we are new to the... More

Seated at 648pm. Ordered at 649pm. (I looked at the online menu and knew exactly what I wanted) Atmosphere at the bar is loud and busy, jazz flows over the PA and I can hear it from time to time.  It suits the book I'm reading:  Lenny Bruce's How to Talk Dirty and Influence People - An autobiography. I'm seated... More
