We had to wait for about 10 to 15 minutes before the waitress came. She spoke to us as if we were in our 90’s or very young children. We ordered the meal with stuffing and it was cold. The grandchildren ordered the ribs which were below par and hard to cut. My wife and I were both sick the next... More

It's been 6 month since we've been here last. We were worried they wouldn't get our order right, but they thankfully did! And on top of that it was cooked perfectly and for once the fries were not soggy or undercooked. We were very pleased with our quarter chicken dinners. Will definitley be back again.

You could run out of chicken at Swiss Chalet on a Saturday night. Instead of offering us roast beef and ribs they should have given us a free entrée or a coupon or something. Maybe let us know before we wait to be seated and sit down.

Here is word for word how my visit went. Host: Table for 4? Me: Yes, please Host: Ok, follow me Host: Oh, by the way we're out of white meat and running very low on dark so.... *Awkward Silence* I've been to numerous Swiss Chalets and none of my visits have been so negative.

This is the first negative review I have here. The wait staff was great but it's all about the food. I ordered ribs, my favorite, but it was 80% fat. Very little edible meat. My dinner companion had the rotisserie beef and again 80% inedible fat. I won't be back. Sorry

This restaurant is always a family pleaser. Their rotisserie chicken is always the big hit with our family. The service is always friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable and great for families or seniors on a budget.

We used to go to Swiss Chalet whenever we took the entire family out because it was economical and you could always count on getting the exact same thing every time. The last couple of times, it was filthy dirty and the food was cold, dry and tiny. Not good value and extremely poor overall. We will never go back.

Came by here for dinner today and wanted 2 quarter chicken dinners and they had run out of chicken. They said they would try and get chicken from a nearby Swiss Chalet but that it would be an hour. How can a place that specializes in chicken run out of chicken?

Definitely a great place to have a long, pleasant visit when traveling in by train to visit a relative. The food was great and our server delightful. Tip: if you are able to go early -> mid afternoon, there are fewer patrons and we did not feel rushed or hurried at all.

This restaurant like most in the Cara Restaurant family provide consistent quality food. The place is busy, and is a favorite with local retirees, especially on Friday nights when the place is hopping. Server staff are nice and helpful. The take out section is just okay. I had 2 separate orders for take out and the orders was missing an... More

Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?
