Breakfast wasn't included in my room rate, but was well worth paying for. Huge selection of fresh fruit and hot food - everything fresh and tasty. Big tables, comfy seating - a great place to hang out for brunch. If you sit by the window you have a lovey view.

My wife and I come here a couple times a year to treat ourselves to a Norman Rockwell style weekend. We really enjoy the breakfast! The same chef has been there at breakfast for many years, what a nice man I'm sorry I don't know his name but what a friendly wonderful man he is. So helpful. The food is... More

Dined here with friends and not disappointed. Very elegant surroundings, and they make a good spanish coffee. I had the heirloom tomato salad - very tasty. The roasted halibut was about a 3 oz portion, for $32, somewhat expensive. I found the edamame beans and seasonal vegetables (root vegetables) did not pair well with the fish. The fish was well... We had dinner at Wilfrid's on a business trip. Located in the stunning Chateau Laurier, Wilfrid's evokes memories of classic upscale restaurants. The drink options were limited (only one beer option), but otherwise no fencers with the meal. I had a heirloom tomato salad followed by foie gras stuffed quail. The quail was small in size, but the richness of... More

Had a very enjoyable late and relaxed breakfast with my wife for our anniversary. Pros: good overall selection, airy crepes, great choice of berries and compote for your crepes, waffles and pancakes. Bagels were very good as well. My wife really enjoyed the breakfast sausage and the way bacon was fried - just perfect, in her opinion. Cons: cinnamon buns... More

Formal service, soft pastel yellow, high high ceilings and tall windows overlooking the bluffs of Parliament Hill, everyone should treat themselves to this experience at least once in their lifetime. Even the walk through this iconic hotel to the restaurant is an adventure in history and gentility.

Truly great buffet brunch. This brunch is set on the ground floor of the historic Chateau Laurier. Try for a window seat overlooking the Ottawa River All aspects of this restaurant set the bar for quality and service.

Did not have a reservation for dinner, but the staff was very accommodating and found us a spot. Pricey , but you get what you paid for. Food was excellent, wine was fantastic. My favorite part was dessert. I have never had a blueberry creme brulee and I doubt I will have another one just as good. Worth the price.

We recently celebrated an event with a Sunday brunch at Wilfrid's and were very impressed with everything. The food was delicious! It was fresh, always replenished, maintained at the proper temperatures, and the options were delicious. Elegant and classic, yet modern choices. Cheers to the chef. The service was great: at the hot food counter (beef and Yorkshire pudding), at... More

Service a little on the slow side but made up for with good food choices. Fine dining in an excellent setting.
