A little hungry after the flight in. Had to stop and have a pint of the day with some spicy fried pickles. The patio has a nice view of the war memorial but the sun moves away quickly in this corner of you want to enjoy the patio. Server was friendly and charming after a bit if a wait at... More

With a Gothic-looking bar that was brought over from Ireland, this place has the feel of history throughout. Good menu variety. Everyone liked their food. Lots of nooks and crannies to cozy up into, but there are also window tables with a view of the street action. Service was good.

very disappointed with prices and what you actually got for that price! service was a little slow. Pub nachos - don't bother - for $14 a whole lot of nothing. Calamari was great though.

The hotel we were staying at recommended D'Arcy McGee's pub. When we got there it was full and were told we would have to wait 15 - 20 minutes, which was fine. There was a show near buy tht was going to start soon and people would be leaving. At 8 pm most people left the pub. We were eventualy... More

The beer and cocktails were great. The yokies were outstanding and the chicken tacos were nice. The steak was very ordinary.

We were seated right away on the first floor as my dinner companion uses a cane. It was Taco Tuesday so he ordered 3 chicken tacos. There was hot sauce all over them - he couldn't taste anything of the ingredients. He took one bite and couldn't eat any more. I finished the rest of that taco and we returned... More

There are way better pubs in ottawa if you want more than basic pub food. The atmosphere of this pub is awesome old world style, but since the original owner sold it and the new owners are Cara foods I have no use for it.

Friday night at six may not be the best time to try a new spot but it was worth the jam packed and noisy crowd. It was so crowded that our table was mere inches from the next and when they sat a couple down beside us they looked very uncomfortable being so closely surrounded by others on all sides... More

This is my favourite pub to go to in Ottawa! Their menu is fantastic and is switched up regularly enough, lots of tasty vegetarian options as well. Their beet salad is so delicious and their drinks are awesome. I have been served by Tara a few times and she is just wonderful. I'm glad to say that the quality and... More

My first visit in several years. It was a busy pre-concert dinner hour. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was tasty, hot and served in good portions.
