I've always been happy with the Pub and was looking forward to lunch on their patio (which faces Parliament Hill). They are closed for renovations and probably won't be open until the Fall.

I have never been here but walked by it a million times. It was very rustic inside and the service was great. Food was pub fair but still very good. Happy to go back.

We went here on a friday night and although the service was good and the food was actually not too bad, the atmostphere was rather subdued (in fact, so was the entire Sparks pedestrian mall). Prices were fair (could've been better). Again, the big winner here for me was the service. We were in a hurry and our waiter did... More

The Sparks Street area is a bit of a wasteland, but if you're stuck here and looking for a decent meal, The Parliament Pub will do the trick. The service is friendly and the food is good. I would have given it 4 stars, but it's a little pricey for what it is.

We were just looking for a light lunch and the server was so helpful he even offered to send us to another place but in the end he suggested exactly what we wanted. A tasty shared sandwich.

We were seated outside on the patio with a view of the Parliament Buildings and the folks walking past the pub. The server/barman was very friendly and helpful. The food was fine and delivered hot in a reasonable amount of time. Price was ok too. The patio could be improved by trimming the surrounding trees and letting in more light... More

We stopped in here after the parliament tour and had a wonderful lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful and willing to chat a little while we were being served. The pictures of all the different politicians on the walls were a nice touch. The only draw back was that the bathroom was down a couple of flights of stairs... More

I have only one complaint, the chairs are so comfy it's really hard to eat as you simply sink into the material, great for sipping your wine thought. The service was great, the menu was nice (but would have loved fries with my salmon sandwich). The salmon toast was superb, just the right amount of capers and the toast was... More

Great restaurant. Very friendly polite staff, service was excellent. Super menu, food was fresh and delicious and we got a kick out of the creative menu. It was fun to see all of the political memorabilia around the walls. Very convenient for visits to Parliament Hill, other downtown sites. Our window seat looked out over the wonderful Terry Fox Monument... More
