Literally! This diner aired on Food Network's "Ya Gotta Eat Here". Classic diner comfort food and has been around for decades. I highly recommend getting the pie. The pie of the day when I went was Coconut Cream pie and it was to die for! Homemade and just delicious! I'm definitely going again just for the pie. The breakfast specials... More

Small town, local cafe where all the local people go for a good, basic breakfast. No frills breakfast: eggs, bacon, home fries and toast done right. Good coffee. Small with counter seating. Very reasonable price.

Everything is made fresh. Portions are massive. You get fresh baked bread and soup with anything you order. The 2 servers are the best!

Had dinner here the other night and it was as good as ever. Basic working man menu in a relaxed coffee shop atmosphere. Excellent food and plenty of it.. with reasonable prices too. You can't go wrong here.

We crossed the bridge to eat at Ernies. It was a fabulous breakfast with peameal bacon. Oh my goodness was that some tasty bacon. Everything was homemade and we loved it. We even talked about sticking around to eat another meal because it was so delicious. We did take coconut cream pie with us as we headed back to the... More

We headed off the TransCanada Highway to find this place, based on previous reviews. We were thrilled to find it frequented by more "regulars" than tourists. This is an authentic diner! The service was amazing, and the food was tasty and generous. We chose the rye bread with our breakfast, and wished we could have taken home a loaf! delicious!
