went there with my wife, son and another couple. we ordered a couple of appetizers which were good. In main course, we ordered general Tao chicken, chicken pad thai, lemon-grass chicken and chicken with cashew nuts. Lemon-grass chicken is definitely a no- no at this place (it was too bland); rest of the items were okay. we had to order... More

My favourite Thai restaurant in Toronto. The food is excellent and the service is top notch. Their green curry chicken is my favourite in the city. Their dim sum sampler is excellent. Their wonton soup is so flavourful. They have very reasonably-priced lunch specials too. I highly recommend this place.

Walking along Eglinton between Yonge and Mount Pleasant and looking for a place to enjoy an early lunch, I decided to give Lime a try. Good choice. The ambience is a bit sterile, but the food is fine. I had the sweet-and-sour soup and the chicken cashew main course; both were more than satisfactory. The prices was very reasonable.

A decent Chinese bistro in a mostly Italian neighborhood. The cuisine is Chinese that skews Thai. So there are a lot of Thai or Vietnamese curries, together with cantonese hot and sour food. The Yonge Street restaurant is locate above the Lawrence stop, so it's quiet on the weekends. The furnishings are modern and the seating quite roomy. I liked... More

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch at Lime. The food was delicious and the decor was clean and sophisticated. We had a great pad Thai and chicken with mango. Each came with a bowl of soup. I highly recommend it.

Overall the appetizers were quite good with a good variety to choose from. We had a sampler platter and vegetable spring rolls. Went with the seafood trio deep fried. Short ribs were also tender and a good flavour. We skipped on dessert.

I have lived 5 mins away from Lime for over 3 years now, walk by it everyday and have never gone in, but so glad I finally did. Was craving Asian/Thai food, wanted a nice place to go and sit and eat good food and this was the place. Got the soft shell crab for appetizer, sauce was amazing. I... More

Stumbled upon the restaurant while walking down Eglington towards Yonge. I at first noticed the decor which was understated but very engaging. Hard to do! I asked a couple that was exiting while I was reading the menu if they would recommend the place and they said they have eaten here many times and would highly recommend them. Soooo then,... More

We went for an early dinner. The service was excellent, our server was very helpful with food selections and extremely attentive. The new location at Yonge and Lawrence has nice decor and a zen like atmosphere, even the restrooms. The lettuce wraps were delicious, as well as the yellow curry with shrimp and Thai basil chicken. The portions are generous,... More

The new location on Yonge is absolutely beautiful, and the food was also excellent. We were a group of eight and the pacing was exactly right.

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
