Best chicken shawarma I've had in a long time. I could really taste the pickled beets and hot sauce. Chicken was crispy the way I prefer. Only wish there was more garlic sauce so I'll request that next time

Walked by this place and the smells and atmosphere drew us in. It's not big or fancy but good selection of middle eastern cuisine and my first experience with this type of food. Great place to people watch and good value if you are wanting simple and fast with option to linger and people watch.

Stopped im because my mom was so impressed with the employees cutting up massive amount of fresh veggies and saw the meat looked... More

When I walk to work in the morning, I walk by at about 7:15am, and they are there prepping and cooking HUGE amounts of food. Every single day. This place is FRESH, hands down. I come here for lunch fairly often, maybe every other Friday. It is close to work, and I always know I can grab lunch (which is... More

Late on Tuesday night during the holidays at shawarma - chicken and beef. It seems beef had been sitting there for days. Got diarrhea as a result. Avoid this restaurant.

Whenever we visit Toronto we never give up the chance to have a shawarma from here. It's consistently delicious and even tho my son moved away 4 years ago, on this trip the owner remembered him. That's personal interest. The line up never seems to end which indicates that this little place is very popular. We knew it would be... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
