We went here on a Friday night and were surprised that it wasn't busier but the positive thing was we got a table quickly. They have a great selection of beers and prices are decent as well. We ordered a few sharing platters and food was tasty and portion sizes good (especially the chocolate brownie). Service was a bit slow... More

We stumbled across this place as we were looking for a place to drink after dinner, and the atmosphere was lively even if there were a few people were around. We came back the next day to watch the hockey here and it was jammed packed, there was even a line at the door. The food here is pretty good... More

Nice sports bar with good food. I got something I've never had before it was "a sweet potato thing" which was an experience to say the least!! Try it but share it!! Waitress was friendly. Only reason I didn't give it 5/5 was the bartender was a bit rude when I asked was there any irish whiskies (I couldn't really... More

This large bar and grill is a very warm and friendly place the kind of place where everyone knows your name, I felt right at home, very friendly staff. Food was excellent especially the burgers with their special sauce, a bit disappointed in the pouting, real cheese curds with frozen fries?

We we ate at the Loose Moose more than once during our trip to Toronto. The service was top notch! Their beer and food recommendations were great! Even when the place was really busy the service was fast and friendly.

Stopped at the Loose Moose on our way to a hockey game at the ACC. Seated quickly. Were told only "shared" seating was available and were seated at the end of a long table. It wasn't too busy so it was fine. Great beer selection, tried several new kinds. Food was delivered quickly and tasted great. Service was quick and... More

Stopped for lunch before a hockey game and watched some of the other games in the tournament while waiting. Tons of beer choices, and got sample sizes of several to try, and great food. Absolutely loved the poutine as a side to the burger!

Welcome to the new Loose Moose, featuring a brand new menu and the largest draught beer selection in downtown Toronto. Since pouring our first pint in 1989, a lot has changed at The Loose Moose. And yet, so much has remained the same. Our space is different, but our address isn’t. Our business has grown, but we’re still independent. And now, even with the most draught beers downtown, we’re no beer snobs. Never have been. Never will be. After all, staying true to yourself is how you make new friends - and keep old ones. Anyone who’s stopped by The Loose Moose to unwind after work, watch the game or make a night of it will tell you the same.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
