Bear in mind that this is an informal, busy, vibrant, sports bar style place for supper. The Music is fairly loud (although not so loud that you cannot hold a conversation, albeit with slightly raised voices) the beers are reasonably numerous and delightfully beery, the food is a slightly more grown up version of fast food well presented and nicely... We had just arrived in Toronto and we were staying near to the Loose Moose, so we wandered in for some lunch. The venue was playing very loud music - I would say it was hard rock music. There were plenty of people there. We were seated and had good service. It was really just another "burger 'n chips" type... More

In town five days with group of six. Good food and drinks. Sliders were tasty for certain. Wings were good. Everyone seemed to like what they ordered. Service was very good. Easy to recommend for pub food and drinks.

In Toronto for the Grey Cup. We went here twice for dinner with a big group, 10ish. All our meals were excellent and I would recommend the fish and the dirty or was it angry bird.

Try this restaurant. We both ordered hamburgers and loved them. Service is good, and the food is hearty, tasty and served with a smile. We will visit again.

A great place to stop in for a good bite to eat and a pint. First visit here stopped in for a bite to eat. Very nice options on the menu and a wide variety of beers on tap and bottled. This would be a great place for a bunch of friends to get together also.

Myself and three coworkers were in Toronto for a business meeting and went to the loose moose for lunch. We were not disappointed. The food was great and the staff is very friendly. We will definitely go back again next time we go to Toronto for a business meeting. Try the chicken Cobb salad it was wonderful!

Nearby to Union Station. Kind of İrish or English pub. The food was soso, but let me warn you about the loud music. Don’t bother to go if you are over 45. We were six of us and suffered one and a half hours and try to talk by shouting to each other. But if you are a fan of... More

Had wings that were very good and Amsterdam 3 speed on tap which was a nice beer. The only complaint was that I had three waiters/waitresses and when it came to the bill, not sure who was on first.

We went for lunch one day and the food was unique and very good! We went for live music which started at 10 we got there a bit late around quarter to 11 and we're disappointed to find the music ended after one song. The band was very talented though!!! Great vibe in the bar and overall was an awesome... More

Description
Welcome to the new Loose Moose, featuring a brand new menu and the largest draught beer selection in downtown Toronto. Since pouring our first pint in 1989, a lot has changed at The Loose Moose. And yet, so much has remained the same. Our space is different, but our address isn’t. Our business has grown, but we’re still independent. And now, even with the most draught beers downtown, we’re no beer snobs. Never have been. Never will be. After all, staying true to yourself is how you make new friends - and keep old ones. Anyone who’s stopped by The Loose Moose to unwind after work, watch the game or make a night of it will tell you the same.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
