I went there in October 2016 for the Margerita pizza and calamari. The calamari was fantastic and they give you a huge portion! The pizza is delicious as well! Good atmosphere. Will be back!

Went here by accident as a second choice but what luck. Truly great place, great food and fantastic atmosphere. Loved the non stop Motown! A real gem!

My friend and I ordered the prix fixe lunch and everything about it was absolutely delicious! So delicious was the pizza, that I ate my entire pizza and a slice of hers!

Food was fantastic, service good - but it's very noisy - couldn't hear the people sitting across the table from you.

I went with my two italians friends and when they say it's a really good pizza i trust in their opinion. Apart from this i can tell it was a really good pizza and a really good tiramisu. The place was nicely decorated and very comfortable.

I came here for Curry one night and they didn't have a single Indian dish on the menu. The cheese was far too fresh and the smell of stone oven pizza's cooking is not ideal for a night out.

We wanted to visit the original branch of this Toronto institution - great authentic pizza - although not loads of choice and loved the deep fried risotto balls - so creamy. Liked the décor but was new and I was hoping for something more original and rustic. It is a little way out so might be better to visit one... More

I learned about Pizzeria Libretto in the weirdest way; from a celebrity! 3 years ago I attended the art Exhibit of Patrick j Adams (best known for Suits, also appeared in Pretty Little Liars, Friday Night Lights, and is married to Troian Belissario). He was not supposed to be there, but showed up anyways to meet and greet. While conversing... More

We decided to try this restaurant out today after reading the reviews on this site and we were not disappointed. We arrived at 3:00 on a Saturday and were seated right away. The wine is a bit pricey but the beer is comparable to other restaurants if not a bit cheaper, so my husband and I had beer and our... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
