Worth the wait for this pie! Some great pastas and salads and calamari fritti as well! Good drinks loud but fun! Sometimes you need to be prepared for a wait!

We were very pleased to find this Pizzeria as it was a cold, windy night and we were walking looking for somewhere to eat. It was quite busy but we were seated straight away and our order was taken not long after. The pizzas and salad were great! We did not have dessert but enjoyed an excellent coffee. Staff were... Most places here have the same pizza. I like the thin crust and more sauce: Brazilian/Italian style. The pizza is delicious, fresh! It's an individual portion, $15-18 each.

This is our go to place! Reminds us of the pizza in Naples, Italy. Excellent food and great selection of wine. I remember when they had only one location and we would drive all the way from Markham. We have been to all the locations in Toronto and have never been disappointed. They recently changed the menu and I had... More

This is a great but noisy restaurant that is perfect for gatherings of friends or family. I am always amazed at the range of ages from children to seniors. The menu is very flexible and good for shared meals. The quality of food and service is very high.

One of a few locations in the Toronto Area and definitely worth a visit. I'm not sure how it ranks up against other fired pizzas in the city, from what I understand there are a number of very good pizza joints near the city, but Pizz. Libretto feels very authentically Italian, from it's menu, to it's brick oven baked pizzas,... More

Really enjoyed the pizza. Very fresh tasting and a good amount of zest and flavour. Wine is reasonably priced as well which is always helpful. I like the original Ossington location better than the University Ave one which is a bit more sterile and corporate. The Ossington one had a really fun vibe to it. Dessert was well priced and... Libretto's pizza has a very good crust. Toppings are toppings...but in my opinion it is the crust that makes the pizza. Their crust is the same as the crust we had at the best pizza restaurant in Naples Italy.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
