Stopped in here for lunch after seeing the Vera sign outside. We ordered the calamari and meatballs for an appetizer and it was really good. However, their wood oven baked pizzas were awesome. They have great flavors from the wood oven. We ordered the Prosciutto pizza, Diavolo pizza and a Salami Pizza and all of them were perfect. I asked... More

Went here on my last day in Toronto. The food here is great. It taste like the pizza in Italy. You are given bread in the beginning. OMG the bread is so soft and good. My kids and I ordered margherita pizzas. They got the kids version will comes with gelato at the end.

As I was walking down Ossington St., I saw the Vera Pizza sign and immediately walked into Pizzeria Libretto . Understand, if a restaurant has been designated a Vera Pizza Napolenta (VPN), it means that they have and are meeting very high standards set by Neapolitan Pizza masters. The pizza was delicious, service was outstanding and the restaurant very inviting.... More

Had a great dinner out with my family at Liberetto and it was delicious. Order 2 adult pizzas and 1 kids pizza. The dough was light and baked in a wood oven giving it that wood oven taste. Centre of the pizza was a little soggy, but the taste was fantastic. We finished dinner with a cappuccino and a macchiato... More

I thought this place had both great food and ambiance. Pizza is my favorite food and the quality of pizza found in this restaurant is very comparable to the pizzas you find in restaurants in Italy.

Went there with our two kids to grab dinner after a TSO concert. We have been to every reputable pizza place in this city, but this place knocked it out of the park. The best about the restaurant is that every single item we ordered was delicious. Most pizza places offering really good pizza fall short on their salads or... More

Loved this place. We drove up to Toronto from Niagra Falls to go to the CN tower. We were hungry and Pizzeria Libretto was able to fit us in at the counter. We were a family of 4 and we got individual pizzas for everyone. Each pizza was unique and tasty. My favorite was the sausage pizza. I wish they... More

We went on a weekday to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately there was some mess with service, it took them more than 1 hour to bring us the food although the place was almost empty. They tried to make it up by offering us a free appetizer. Pizza was great though!

Very good food with many options. Food has real italian flavor with a local touch (like the home made sausages) The place is actually family welcoming. We were a large group with many kids and still had a good time.

Thank Diego V

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
