Went on a super busy night. Have been to many jack Astros in the past. This one was at a great location. Good service and ambiance. Food was super salty this time. Had the quesadilla and burgers kids had pizza.

The food is always great at Jack Astor's. We ordered garlic pan bread as an app. and it was dropped off to us without utensils. We told our server once we found her, and it took her 5 min. to come back. She stopped to take someone's order first. We waited a total of 10 min. to get forks, knives,... More

Every time I frequent a Jack Astor's Bar and Grill I leave happy. The food is good and the service is excellent. The menu is extensive. The prices are reasonable and the portions are substantial.

I had dinner with 7 business associates at Jack Astor's corner of Yonge and Dundas in Toronto. What a great location, the staff are friendly and professional. We had a great meal.

We ate at Jack Astors after a long day of training for work. Our waitress, Lexi, was amazing! She was attentive, very friendly, offered tips on best food choices, and went over and above. Very impressed.

I have always had great service at this location. Last night our server was Ryan C. I recommend asking for him if you visit! He was super friendly and interactive. Our table was laughing the whole time and we were impressed by his amazing service. Thank you Ryan, for making our night so great!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
