Stopped by the day after Boxing Day and was surprised to get a table. Our server was good but the rest of the lunch was so-so. Meals arrived individually and from over cooked eggs to a burnt tart we seemed to be out of luck....More

At a loss to understand the appeal of this place. Odd location, indifferent decor, average food, abysmal service. I can think of dozens of better places to eat in Toronto.

At its best, Gilead has creative combinations and compelling flavours. But the locavore ideology seems to drive decisions more than customer preference. Between 6 of us we pretty much tried everything on the menu and it was all great (except the marinated salmon which was ok). Service was good, atmosphere ok. I'd go back for an informal meal.

On a sunny Sunday there was no lineup at the door, unlike many other brunch spots we've tried all over toronto. For good reasons. We came to try out Jamie Kennedy's food, which range from underwhelmingly ordinary at best to down right bad. The brunch...More

Had brunch here during a recent trip to Toronto. While the food was fresh I didn't find the brunch menu to be very exciting/different. Had the howdy pardner breakfast sandwich and the eggs with hash and salad. Everything was very fresh but not sure it's...More
