Such wonderful food, such outstanding cocktails, VERY good value. I admit to being biased because I am a regular but the food at Sidecar is just great.

Been to Sidecar many times and enjoyed ourselves every time. The last time was when they were gratuity free. Service was as expected and there when you needed them. For appetizer we had the Pork Belly. (very lean, best I have had). For entrees we had the CRISPY HALF CHICKEN which was a large moist portion cooked perfectly. The other... More

We had dinner at Sidecar last weekend for our anniversary. It was our first visit but it will not remain our last. Although it is a laid back atmosphere the service is still on point. As this restaurant is gratuity free it takes out the hassle at the end of the evening. The menu has something for everybody and the... More

Had a great gathering for a Christmas party. The menu options were all tempting, and well presented and served. This place is unique in that THEY DO NOT ACCEPT TIPS! The pricing is reasonable nonetheless. Our food and drinks were all tasty. Everyone appeared to have left the party very satisfied. The TTS bartenders are above-average in skill.

I was here for a set dinner for an event. It has been a fairly good meal (I recommend the salmon, it was cooked "au point"). I also had the butternut squash, which was good. The chocolate cake was ok. They have a 33$ prix fixe option which seems to be quite interesting. Beer is reasonably priced, wine by the... More

Recently went with a group for a friends birthday. Food was amazing!! And the service was top-notch as well. Highly recommend it. I had the steak frites - the meat was so tender and delicious and the chocolate torte - it was unbelievable!!!

This was our first time at a no tipping restaurant. We did not know this when we made our reservation and looked at the menu online. We thought the prices were competitive considering the very good quality of the food and portion sizes. Our server was friendly, helpful and explained the no tipping policy meant that she is paid a... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
