Saw the sign yesterday and went back to check it out today. After 10 years in Canada ( originally from the UK), this is the first authentic fish and chips that I've had! And it was an absolute bargain...costs less than a sandwich! If I was being ultra-picky, the batter was a bit thick...but all round top-notch!

Looking for some really good fish & chips reasonably priced? This is the spot. It's smallish and not the best for dining in but the take out portions and a good size, tasty & a fair price for what you get.

It is a very small place with only a few tables (most people get take-out) but we were able to sit and enjoy our food there. I must say that the food is very good and I look forward to going back.

Very small restaurant, only a few tables for sit-down, but it's a great little spot to pick-up and take-home some tasty fish and chips ... I always have the halibut, a nice size piece, always delicious - and the French fries and consistently fabulous! The price is about $10 per serving when you get the halibut (most expensive) but in... I say surprising because the building isn't the greatest. I was a little bit scared when entering that it wouldn't be good but my judgments were completely wrong! I got the halibut and chips with a side of coleslaw. The halibut was a huge piece of fish in a perfectly done breading. The fries were very good and the coleslaw... More

Love these guys: Great when you feel like a bit of good quality grease and don't feel like cooking. A reliable neighbourhood chippy!

I lived in Uk many years and this Fish and Chips is the same. You can choose from cod, haddock or halibut. Didnt try their clams or scallops. The chips are also very nice when you dont let them stay too long in the paper. Coleslaw is nice. Service is perfect. Just call them and give them 15 mns to... More

A very small quaint little Fish & Chip store. A little pricey but worth the freshness and homemade factor of the preparation of the food. Old Fashioned take out Fish & Chips! Yummy!

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
