Ok, this is by far the best burger I've had in Toronto. It tastes homemade, but with a restaurant flair. Great service too!

passed by this restaurant numerous times on my way to my credit union and finally made the stop! greeted by Joanne who allowed me to sit where I preferred. handed a bevrage, meal and snack menu. received a cola soda in a tall, generous glass which was followed a few minutes later with my burger. I chose just a burger... More

They have great happy hour specials, beer on tap and great burgers and sandwiches. The place is small but a great selection and Jessie the General Manager is awesome.

I'm not sure if the other server(s) called in sick or not, there was one energetic server waiting on all the tables and doing the hostessing as well, and we were told a new chef in the kitchen. Breakfast took a very long time to come, but when it did it was outstanding! I had the "WBB ALL IN BREAKFAST"... More

Concierge of the Chelsea Hotel recommended this place as the closest restaurant that serves Poutine. Expected a lot more but just got soggy fries with cheese and gravy. Burgers and sandwiches were just ok nothing to write home about. As for the service let's just say you can't complain because there was none. As for the Irish/English/welsh guy if the... More

please see a pic of my punched burger which they shamelessly served me with, it tasted much worse than it looks. Moreover, there was more salt in my (day-old) fries than there was fries, and the burger came with no sauce/dressing inside despite my request. I complained about both the burger and the fries, and of course with much difficulty... More

We had breakfast here (cheaper than at hotel). Meals were good; excellent location; excellent service; excellent value (about $20 for breakfast for 2). We recommend!

This place was very quiet mid week for breakfast. The breakfast was average priced and decently portioned. I would recommend for people to go to frans next door if your looking for a better experience though.

Came here with a friend because I was craving a burger and wanted to try their "fish bowl" drinks, we got place in the corner so our "didn't notice" that we were there. she was nice enough, but the vibe of this place was gross. We got our drinks, which cost like 12 bucks for a mini fish bowl which... More

Loved the menu, lots of choice with burger selections running the gamut from lamb to brisket. I had the traditional beef with salad and pop. It was a high quality burger combo for only about a buck more than the fast food joints. The table service was great. Ten people were served at the same time!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
