Food was cold, dry and pretty tasteless. Love Mexican and real authentic which is why we chose it. Take out menu is far superior to dine in menu which we didn't know wasn't available before we got there. Saturday night disappointment. Won't be going back :(

My partner and I went last night. There was only one table there. We ordered the tortilla soup and chicken mole. The soup was decent w the intensity of flavor. However, in the middle of our main, I cut out one chicken drumstick a strong rotten meat smell came right out. I immediately brought to waiter's attention. He just took... More

The food is very good but very expensive. I'm originally from Mexico. I had the Sopa de Tortilla and the Chiles Poblanos . It was good but my chiles came with no sides. I had to pay extra for rice. My friend had beef ribs (veal!) Again, they were served alone, no sides.

HORRIBLE experience... really a sub par restaurant. I would have been just as happy eating at Chipotle. I will start off by saying that if you want to go here for lunch and have a few beers and tacos you will enjoy this place. However, what I do not like is a restaurant that participates in Summerlicious and advertises themselves... More

Oh wow!!! I don't know where to start! My hubby and I found this gem online! Everything from drinks (mango margarita, red wine) to the main course was DELICIOUS!!!! Service was impeccable. Both the wine and the dessert that was recommended by our server was absolutely delicious! I have always wanted to try fish tacos, Wow this is the place... More

We arrived on time with a booked reservation. The restaurant was empty, not like just a few people, but literally without a customer. The "host" scrolled through his iPad, could not find the booking, wondered if perhaps we had a different surname, then after about 30 seconds found it ("you're right",he said. Oh, thanks!) Then he stood there for another... More

Hard to know where to start with the horrible experience. Wasn't busy and it took 45mins for us to get our drink order. An hour after that most of us did receive our dinner orders. There were late sides and dinners, and totally missed dinners and sides. What a disaster!! Some of the very poor service could possibly be forgiven,... More

An excellent restaurant for Mexican food. Any item on the menu deserves your attention and great taste. The whole fish is delicate and prepared the way it should be: an amazing dish. Everything is fresh and professionally served and managed by the wait staff. Thank you.

Staying in York-Crosstown

Neighbourhood Profile
York-Crosstown
York-Crosstown is a sleepy area of Toronto dotted gorgeously with hills and farmland, stately homes and parks. An affluent district in parts, the stately houses at Baby Point along Jane Street are especially breathtaking, and make for a lovely wander on a clear day. Parks are bountiful in York-Crosstown, which makes it a vibrant area for outdoor play and sports, providing a break from the hustle of Toronto's busy, jam-packed city center. For a little spice after a walk in the park, the Little Jamaica area of York sports cheap, authentic food from the Caribbean. This area is restful and more orientated towards outdoor activity and the exploration of nature.
