My teenage son and I were very pleased with our meals. I was in search of something delicious to eat, and I found it. Also, the service is quick, and organized. Seating is tight, and not at all abundant. Yet, it's still worth a visit, or two, if you love seafood like I do.

My husband and I tried new to us foods. Being from Saskatchewan, fresh seafood is not always available. We had the ship poboy and lobster bisque. Oh the flavors! ! Would highly recommend this to everyone!

Had dinner here after walking around Lawrence market. Ordered the grilled salmon with salad. Lots of greens and sizeable portion of salmon steak. Definitely worth a try if you're feeling fishy

I was jonesing for a mess of fried clams. With a New Brunswicker for a mother, I've had them from those roadside stands where they hand them to you in a brown paper bag, with the grease seeping through the paper. Nothing can beat their freshness. Including the fried clams at Busters. But they were pretty good. My husband and... More

Buster's a perfect example of success ruining a good thing. Theoretically, it should be spectacular. A seafood restaurant with direct access to fresh fish within the market, and a captive audience to sell it to. In practice however, it all falls apart. I have been to Buster's a number of times, and I've always left with an overwhelming sense of... More

Had lunch here during a visit to St. Lawrence's Market. Queue seemed long but moved very quickly so don't let that put you off. I went for the lobster roll with fries. It was very good. I wish I had the appetite to try more things as everything looked good. Judging by people around me, everyone seemed to be happy... More

We always enjoy claw chowder, fish and chips when you know it is fresh. They have unique method of placing your order. While you are standing in the line a waiter takes your order, then a cashier takes your cash (cash only) and within 5-6 minutes you have order in hand. My sister and I should have ordered a small... At the very back at St. Lawrence Market, you will find this lovely seafood place. Yes, there will be a line, but don't worry, they are organized and it would move fast. Try the Crab Cakes and the Clam Chowder or the Shrimp and Rice (very spicy) But basically everything is good and fresh. Sit outside if the weather permits.... More

We got here just before they closed and boy, are we glad we did! I had the seafood orzo and my husband had the calamari. You watch your meal being prepared right from the seafood bar, and they prepare each dish like they're cooking for their momma! I will remember the seafood orzo forever! The young team behind the counter... More

If you are in the St. Lawrence Market you can find Busters Sea Cove by one of the exits. Around lunch time there will be a line up of people wanting to get their delicious seafood creations. The shrimp Po Boy is great!

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
