Ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon with mixed salad and it was really good. A really good sized piece of salmon, and plenty of salad. Hit the spot, and the salmon was grilled perfectly.

We stopped here for lunch and chose the clam chowder. A large bowl is certainly a meal. While sitting at the counter we watched so many amazing dishes being prepared. The salmon on salad looked phenomenal, as did the octopus. Actually, everything we saw looked amazing!

Service is not bad,but the food is just horrible.I ordered the seafood orzo and the crab cakes.Crab cakes cost me $13.5,which is 100% made of flour and tastes like i would never eat crab cakes again.Seafood orzo tasted a little better, but there is not much seafood inside.I am really disappointed,i dont recommend this place and would never come again.

Dropped by for lunch on the recommendation from a friend that this was the best fish and chips in Toronto. Meh.... it was just your average fish and chip serving. Nothing exciting about the haddock....not large portions and slightly greasy feel to the batter. $11.95 for haddock & chips, $13.95 for halibut. Other offerings on the grilled menu may have... More

Buster's Cove does great seafood. I've tried several items on the menu and its all good but the shrimp po boy in particular is amazing. Really tasty food, friendly staff, and good ordering system as it does get quite busy. Very generous portions, all at a great price with the lovely atmosphere of St Lawrence Market.

My teenage son and I were very pleased with our meals. I was in search of something delicious to eat, and I found it. Also, the service is quick, and organized. Seating is tight, and not at all abundant. Yet, it's still worth a visit, or two, if you love seafood like I do.

My husband and I tried new to us foods. Being from Saskatchewan, fresh seafood is not always available. We had the ship poboy and lobster bisque. Oh the flavors! ! Would highly recommend this to everyone!

Had dinner here after walking around Lawrence market. Ordered the grilled salmon with salad. Lots of greens and sizeable portion of salmon steak. Definitely worth a try if you're feeling fishy

I was jonesing for a mess of fried clams. With a New Brunswicker for a mother, I've had them from those roadside stands where they hand them to you in a brown paper bag, with the grease seeping through the paper. Nothing can beat their freshness. Including the fried clams at Busters. But they were pretty good. My husband and... More

Buster's a perfect example of success ruining a good thing. Theoretically, it should be spectacular. A seafood restaurant with direct access to fresh fish within the market, and a captive audience to sell it to. In practice however, it all falls apart. I have been to Buster's a number of times, and I've always left with an overwhelming sense of... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
