The food always has been good, we never returned anything. Take out is mixed, they seem not to take a name and then I have been given other people's food. They have also missed items. Generally very prompt service but recently I had to ask multiple times for my order and ended up taking some of it away as it... More

This restaurant is a magnet for the business people working in the office towers in the vicinity. Lunch times are busy most week days and service can be quite slow. The comments from one reviewer regarding dishes arriving out of order or being delayed is correct - therefore it is better to go as part of a group. Groups tend... More

This was the first time visiting this Cantonese restaurant. Ordered three dishes. Two dishes served quickly. But to our big surprise, the quality of foods scared us. The bulk meat pieces were not chopped well and so tough and hard to eat. We were waiting for our third dishes. No waitress or waiter came and asked. They are running around... More

I've been to quite a few Congee Wongs, Congee Queens, etc. And this is by far the worst. Fried rice was bland. Fried turnip patties were the worst I ever had, I felt like they forgot an ingredient or something. There are many better Chinese restaurants than this knockoff Congee Queen.

Absolutely excellent authentic Chinese food in a contemporary dining atmosphere. The food is of an exceptional quality and very tasty. Service is good. Plenty of free parking.

If you're looking for average Chinese Food at a reasonable price, Congee Time will meet your needs. We have ordered Take Out several times and ate in the dining room once. The service during our dinner was poor and as a result, we take out only which works well for us. There is an extensive menu and food is consistent.

Congee Time is our favorite place for Chinese food in the city. I have had the opportunity to travel to China more than once and although the food here cannot compare with the dishes I had in China it's among the best I've had in Toronto. It's also quite affordable (just wish it were closer to the downtown core). Generous... More

It's Chinese fast food. Not high quality but hearty and good enough and with large portions. We go there whenever I'm too tired to cook. We like the congee and the mah poh tofu the best. Sometimes we eat in, sometimes we order take out. Service is usually pretty efficient, but rarely super friendly. But this is the norm for... More
