Parts and Labour is a tasty Canadian restaurant with food and drink that is good but not memorable (in the tiny sampling that I tried). I sat at the bar with my wife and our friend and I tried their shrub cocktail and their octopus dish, wanting to get a sampling of both their food and drink. The cocktail was... More

Great time! This restaurant is so cool, we had to go twice. The food is delicious. The Burger should be renamed the undefeated. The roasted hen is to die for. What about the cheetos mac n cheese? A real gem made in Toronto! You have to go! NOW!

Parts and Labour was recommended to us by a local B & B we were staying at. The hamburgers were delicious as was the trout. Service, Food, a must place to go when in TO!

Fun place but not sure about the communal tables. Luckily we were there early enough that we had a table to ourselves. great service and great food.

If you're a Foodie, then this is a must try, Nestled in Parkdale, it's worth the trek for any tourist and/ or local to taste some Homegrown talent. Everything we tried was good, nice atmosphere- even tough the crowd is Hipster ;) & friendless service. I'll definitely be going back , it's great place to eat & take friends from... More

The food is fantastic. The service is great. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, they have some wicked parties in the basement of the place. Highly recommended!

We were lucky enough to have dinner on a Tuesday night where we took advantage of the fried chicken special. It was superb. We shared the crispy chicken for two among a family of five (generous portions) and then had to sample the burgers as well. Easily one of the best burgers ever - juicy, with tasty condiments and great... More

Brunch is probably one of our favourite meals. I had high hopes for parts and labour but have to admit I was more than a little disappointed. We started with coffe and mimosas which was both awesome. I had the English breakfast and Dh had the steak and eggs. The steak and eggs was really good, the fried green tomatoes... More

I'm typically not one to love a burger joint (I'm a vegetarian), but I have to say this place was really something different. I started with a creamy salted caramel milkshake and waited for my Italian tempeh burger to arrive. I was given the option to have it with a kale ceaser salad, and I am so glad I did... More

I visited Parts and Labour with my husband Thursday night. We'd been to the restaurant 3 times before and tried at least 6 dishes between the two of us, more if you include the dishes our friends and family ordered during those visits, and they've all been delicious. We've only ever tried the donut for dessert because after having it... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
