A recent Ukrainian funeral wake lead us to this restaurant. My Ukrainian born (1911) Baba would have fired up her competitive drive over the Baby Point holubtsi (cabbage rolls). The cheddar cheese/potatoe perogies were disappointing. The dough was mediocre, a little tough, the filling was a thin.

We attended a wedding over the weekend at the Oakville Convention Centre where Babypoint Catering provided the food at midnight. I can't say enough great things about their food, which I thought was amazing! From the yummy borshch to the many Ukrainian food varieties - I just kept going back for seconds and thirds of the perogies. So incredibly yummy!... More

Ivanka made my blood pressure normal in a very stressful time. She fed 250 guests, only some of whom were ukranian, a huge quantity of absolutely delicious Ukrainian food. For reasonably priced, completely reassuring, totally professional catering, call Ivanka at Baby Point. You get to worry about your daughter, not about the food. Also, Ivanka made sure we had no... Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
