This is an almost "need I say more". The wings are cooked well and the right size for me. Excellent fries and onion rings. I can't comment on anything else because it's really our go to wing joint. Good service and if you go enough times Dora will remember the type of beer you drink. If you are in East... More

The food is nothing to write home about. It is good though. ex, chicken wings are big. burgers are tasty. But any place that serves mustard in packages, and charges $.75 for some mayo for my frozen french fries is not going to be a food destination. The staff is generally good, the bar and restaurant are clean. Pool table,... More

I'm a fan of The Wally. I moved to the neighbourhood and wasn't sure about it. It's in a non-descript building and some people might find it looks a bit dodgy. They don't know what they're missing. So I decided to try The Wally and was totally amazed at how good it was. You can sit in the bar area... More

With the amount of traffic that passes by Donlands Ave. and O'Conner Dr., I am surprised this place isn't more packed. But, that's OK! I don't like rowdy pubs. This is a great place to hang out with reasonable prices and awesome food. They have a good tap selection at great prices. The staff are friendly. The wings are really... More

Staying in East York

Neighbourhood Profile
East York
East York includes a portion of old, industrial Toronto. Densely populated but incredibly safe, it boasts some of the city's earliest gardens and gardening clubs, attracting green thumbs everywhere. The tranquility of the Don Valley River area, which is rich with Toronto's oldest and tallest forests, is supplemented by the large ensemble of authentic and refurbished Edwardian homes, giving parts of East York allure. The other draw is for foodies: lovers of Bangladeshi fare will find authentic restaurants and markets in the area, with raw spices and desserts. East York also represents a lot of Toronto's Serbian food culture, and recently, has had an outcropping of solid microbrewery stops. For families, the science center is a favored weekend stop.
