Sit at the bar! Great bartenders, ok food... excellent drinks. They make a bunch of infused Caesars ... the gin one is a must have!

Dropped into Fynn's for a few pints and to sample some pub grub. They didn't disappoint. They offered a wide range of beers on tap as well as bottle brands. The drink selection also had plenty of options. The decor resembled a standard Irish Pub setting, and included numerous TV's with various sporting events offered. The food selection included soups... I can't comment on the food as we had eaten dinner across the road and thought we'd have a few drinks afterward. The draft was fine but the music had us finishing our pints and heading for the door. While the place has a nice Irish feel to it (and we'd been there a few months ago and had a... More

Stopped by on a Friday at 4:00 pm. during a Blue Jays game. Couldn't resist the $3.00 Domestic pints. Patio is in the alley, off of King Street. The pub itself is a raised basement....a typical pub atmosphere. Had a sirloin burger with deliciously crispy fries...tasty burger spilled generously over the bun. Servers are perfect.

Irish pub food that tries to put a twist on it. It has a nice patio so I cannot complain and the food is somewhat worth the price you pay for it.

Table of six of us ate a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon here. Server was warm, friendly and efficient. Each of us ordered different plates and all six of us really loved our meals: shepherd's pie, grilled chicken sandwich, prime rib burger, warm goat cheese salad and polenta benedict. All were excellent! I especially liked when one of our... More

Arrived from the U.S. In Toronto on an early Sunday afternoon. Had an omelet and the edamame appetizer. Both were quite good. Our server was excellent and the outdoor seating comfortable. Would return.

Went there on a Saturday with a big group, for early evening. My turkey avocado melt was a mess of a sandwich. Not much thought given. Initial server wasn't very happy to help , when I got it.Nice enough bartender. Second server was super sweet. Air conditioning felt like you were In some mildew dungeon. Kinda a downer of a... Granted i went during down hours, so it was quaint and quiet in there, but i loved the decor, the lighting, and the overall atmosphere. They don't have a very good beer selection, but if you like beer you can pretty much get everywhere else, then you'll love this place. Spacious, and roomy (maybe cuz it was between rush hour... Nice enough people, very eclectic crowd. It is a crowded traditional watering hole so don;t expect too much as far as fancy goes. I've been to Dublin and it is trying to emulate the vibe but this is Canada not Ireland so keep a good and balanced perspective. Service was decent.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
