Thanks for your passion in creating these special baked goods for what many would think is a niche market. My daughter is gluten free, dairy and soy allergic, my other daughter is soy and dairy allergic and I am dairy intolerant. We all loved the cinnamon buns, the cupcakes and the oat bars. Anyone would love these treats.

I have a niece that is vegan....hard to find great vegan desserts but Bunner's does the job well! We have tried the cinnamon buns, brownies, cookies and butter tarts now and all have been EXCELLENT!!! Yes a little pricey but if you are in need of vegan or gluten free baked goods this is the place to go!!!

After trying more of their menu I am a convert! The chocolate cupcakes and brownies are so tasty. And I just tried their new Josephine Louis. Oh. My. Gosh. So amazing. Reminds me of my childhood! This place is a must try!

I've been going to Bunner's in the Junction for many years. So many vegan, gluten-free treats to choose from. Those without dietary restrictions won't know the difference. My favourites include pumpkin scone, pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, Josephine Louis and supersonic cookie (the cookie that started it all!). Be sure to check out their monthly cupcakes and seasonal menus/additions. They've also... More

I love this place so much, I've visited 10+ times since discovering it. I'm vegan but also have a gluten intolerance which can be difficult. But this place I can just walk in and order anything, it's amazing. Everything if fresh, tasty and you won't be disappointed. My personal favourites are the soy soft serve, cinnamon buns and chocolate chip... More

I was first recommended to go to Bunner's and try a cinnamon bun by my friend who is celiac. Not long after I received a second recommendation from my best friend since grade school - who is vegan - so it became apparent I needed to come here (note: my diet is not restricted to vegan nor gluten-free foods but... We found the bakery in Kensington by accident. I walked in and was confined by a choice of cakes - what a treat! I had a muffin which was delicious - not too heavy or too sweet. Recommended.

I went to pick up some cakes for friends visiting and tried the cinnabons, Apple crumble cinnamon buns and raspberry crumble slices. They were all divine, yet vegan and gluten free so you didn't feel TOO bad eating them! I went to the shop in Kensington market and will be back to sample the rest of the goods, they were... More

We are fortunate to have this vegan gluten free bakery in our neighbourhood. There is a high work ethic. The bread is exceptional. There is a wide selection of sweets and savouries to choose from and one can order specially made cakes. The only wish I have is that they wouldn't use so much agave in their sweets. They are... Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
