This is by far my favourite Japanese restaurant in Toronto. The food here is truly Japanese. Good prices and good quality.

A nice little place just west/south of the rogers centre. Seats about 20 but really good quality food and attentive staff. Nice selection of items and not too over the top with fusion sushi style stuff. Pretty good value and a nice way to end my day.

Great sushi place. Customer service was really good. It is a small and cozy place. Had the small love boat (63 pcs) all the sashimi was good... keep in mind there is no substitutes.

If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it'd be sushi. And, coming from Scotland, sushi is (a) rare (b) expensive and (c) decidedly average. So I was delighted to find that Mi-Ne offered really delicious and fast lunch menus. Great value, excellent central location, and without doubt the best sushi I've ever had.

Went for lunch and ordered a Sashimi and Tempura Combo and a whole bunch of rolls. Was great although a few of the rolls, the seaweed was a little chewy.

Starting with the seaweed salad and vegetable tempura both were exceptional then came the sushi (buzzer sound)... Not good! Service was pleasant but if you are a true sushi fan my advice is to avoid :).

Good service and great food! Walking distance from CN tower. Friendly and accommodating waiter even if it's a small place and we were with kids 👏👏👏Will go back ☺️ we liked the inspirational tea cup and bought two as souvenir 😀

My wife and I attended a Blue Jays game that ended around 4pm, which was too early for dinner, but we needed something to tide us over. As it turned out, Mi-Ne Sushi was right across the street from the Rogers Centre. We got a california roll and the catepillar roll, as well as some maguro tuna and some assorted... More

My honey and I visited after a baseball game and really enjoyed it. We shared one of the platters that had a mix of everything (sashimi, maki etc). Service is friendly but limited seating (they do a lot of take out) so prepare at peak times for a wait.

Located across from the Skydome, Mi-Ne Sushi is in a convenient location to grab a bite before a Jays game. The service was fairly friendly but became a bit irritating as the servers disrupted our conversation too frequently during the meal. The food was mediocre. The fish was not fresh at all and sliced very thinly for the price they... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
