We tried the buffalo wing pizzaand can confidently say it was the best pizza we've ever had. They are renowned for their Big Mac pizza but we were not a fan! Definitely worth a stop if you love pizza

Big House Pizza is really delicious! I recently moved to Calgary, and when I came back to visit Toronto, the first thing I did when I got off the plane was call in an order at Big House. The Hot Pig in the City is my favourite pizza here - most classic in taste an toppings but still creative. The... More

HUGE disappointment and one of the owners is a real arrogant jerk. I ordered wings for delivery and asked for them baked instead of fried. He said that they don't usually do that but they will try. Well, it was a disaster. They weren't done nearly well enough - not nearly enough to eat. How could they let the wings... More

We live in the area and stumbled upon this pizza joint last summer. We used to be a Pizza Pizza regular, but now we always order from Big House. The guys that run the shop are awesome, and the pizzas are delicious! Lots of unique styles! Support your local businesses on the Danforth!

I ordered a pizza from Big House Pizza and it was really good. It was ready for pick up in 20 minutes just as they'd said. I'm not sure if that's the usual time it takes since it was before the dinner rush. It would be worth a longer wait though. The crust was nice and crispy. The toppings were... More

In a town where restaurants abound, and pizza places are a dime a dozen, this place WINS on food. Great attitude. We had the John Candyed pizza. OMG. TO die for. Really, truly GOOD pizza. WAY beyond the average. Wings were equally excellent. Whether you dine in, or take out, or get it delivered, this place is worth at least... More

Love this place. Service is friendly and fast We Dunedin and the manager brought us free potato wedges and dip . Love the unusual toppings and the pizza names. Crust is delightful and not too heavy.

Staying in East York

Neighbourhood Profile
East York
East York includes a portion of old, industrial Toronto. Densely populated but incredibly safe, it boasts some of the city's earliest gardens and gardening clubs, attracting green thumbs everywhere. The tranquility of the Don Valley River area, which is rich with Toronto's oldest and tallest forests, is supplemented by the large ensemble of authentic and refurbished Edwardian homes, giving parts of East York allure. The other draw is for foodies: lovers of Bangladeshi fare will find authentic restaurants and markets in the area, with raw spices and desserts. East York also represents a lot of Toronto's Serbian food culture, and recently, has had an outcropping of solid microbrewery stops. For families, the science center is a favored weekend stop.
