I went there with a group and had some problems with the service. The pub has problems with groups over 15. The food and ambiance were great although.

Was just here with a friend for lunch. It was completely empty which wasn't a shock. Solid selection on the new menu, good selection of beers and friendly waitress. I have only ever been here for lunch, but would pop back in after work some times.

Went for a private work event for St Paddys day so was expecting a lot of people and a live band but it was so loud it made the experience quite unpleasant. The acoustics were not good which made it pretty much impossible to hear the people I was with and sustain a conversation. Coat room was also a bit... More

We stopped in here are seeing a show at a theatre nearby (11:00ish) and it was pretty busy. The bar itself is pretty large, it was a Saturday night so they had a live band playing which was pretty good. There is a small dance floor, and lots of tables though I would recommend getting there early so you have... More

Not fancy but good pub-style food with large portions and attentive service. Can get very loud between the music and large group conversations.

A casual sports pub with descent food. A good meeting place for after work crowd or sports games. Prices are average.

Come here every Saturday when we are rehearsing our shows in Toronto and LOVE IT. The vibe is fantastic and really great energy. Bar tenders are great and so quick. And the live music until the early hours?!! EXCELLENT!! We never leave before closing at 2am!! My favourite place, I look forward to every time I am in the city!!

Went on a business trip and looking for a place to have a few drinks - ended up staying the whole night until 2AM because the band was so GREAT. The place was packed.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
