We were attending a conference in Toronto and tried out nearby Azure for lunch without knowing what this restaurant was like. What a pleasant surprise! Azure offers international cuisine from Mexico to Middle East. We tried tacos, burritos, falafels that are fusion and that they all not only looked tempting to bite but very tasty. I just wish that service... More

For drinks or enjoying breakfast - it's great. The beautiful blue glass was obscured with a TV screen because it's the hockey playoffs...it made our evening meal feel more like a sports bar than fine dining. The evening meal was pretty pricey and the food nicely prepared. However, there are so many wonderful restaurants in Toronto, that with what you're... More

Hands down a must do if you are in the area! During our stay we ate at the Azure Restaurant on several occasions. Food was dynamite and offers something for everyone. The service will leave you in a complete state of "WOW". One member of the team really stood out. His name is Amit Batta. Amit, did a wonderful job... More

Had a blast in the bar, watching basketball games twice in their absolutely huge screen, and having great food and conversation with guests, bartenders and the manager.

Went for breakfast, I am not a buffet person and that is what was pushed. Wait staff got a little irked by having to take an order off the menu and when I did not order coffee loudly announced to the restaurant that I must not be Canadian. Bad Staff experience has tainted my rating.

Although there isn't an extensive menu, there are a number if interesting options. Everything that my group got was thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is very bright and airy and makes you feel like you're on a vacation somewhere...

My girlfriend and I had a lovely dinner at Azure recently! We were having a long awaited chat and our waiter was so considerate. The food was delicious and whole tan Mosphere perfect for good conversation. First class!

I stopped in after a long day of travel. The shrimp tacos & the Mediterranean plate were both light and perfect for a late night dinner. The wine list was also good. The atmosphere was relaxing and eccentric. The only feedback I would give is I wish our server was more attentive.

My 3 sisters met me at the Intercontinental for a sisters weekend. One sister was in a wheelchair so, we ate at Azure a few times. We had breakfast one morning, lunch another day and dinner the third day. All the meals were wonderful. The service was great. The chickpea stew was a bit too spicy. The waitress did say... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
