It was recommended to my wife that we should try this restaurant. So we went there on Sunday around 1:00pm. The restaurant was not busy at all. We got seated right away but we had to wait a long time for the waiter to come to take our order. Food was great and the portion was great too. But not... More

I've been here many times but today will be my LAST. The service is horrible and the food continues to get worse. Adding to the bad times is the 1970s belly dancer (I think she was born in the 70s) and the way too loud music. If your looking for good service and good food.... don't come here.

Among many small Greek and Greek-style restaurants on this quaint neighborhood of Toronto called Little Greektown, there's one you need to try: Christina's. With a choice of outdo patio or cozy indoor seating and a full bar as well, Christina's is a great choice for lunch or dinner and reminds one of a small family-operated taverna in Greece. The food... Nice ambiance, sort of cool interior--a Mediterranean. touch Bar is tiny so don't go there for a drink, not even to wait. Food is very good. Service with a smile. My Mousaka was quite good, remember these folks work with goats milk. Everyone else at the table had the lamb (typical Greek dish) and loved it. This is a nice... More

Went with a family group of 10. They sat us at the back of a empty freezing cold room. From the start, the waiter could not wait till we left. We ordered our main 1 hour and 15 minutes after we sat down. The food was just "OK" . ( being generous on the "Just"). The room, menu and overall... More

Went here with a large group of people. Server was very friendly n helpful. I had the mousaka...well I didn't hv it, the cream sauce was made from goat milk and that doesn't sit well on my pallet. The salad was delicious though. My girls loved the chicken souvlaki and fries. Potatoes were delicious. Hubby loved his meal. Great overall.

We went to the Danforth this afternoon and decided after shopping to grab a bite to eat. My husband and I decided to try Christina's. We haven't been to this restaurant in quite some time, we thought that because we enjoyed the food the last time we visited there, that it would be a good choice to make for dinner.... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
